I wouldn't say this win was a surprise and I wouldn't get overly hyped yet. It was a good win for sure but it was against what a lot of people said was a bad team from EU. Nah. Until RIOT remove the 2 NA native per team rule NA will never have a chance to catch up. No other region is forced to field NA players. It's an unfair system and NA will forever lag behind because of it. Can you imagine watching an NFL male all star team going up against the England women's rugby team? It'd be a bloodbath. TL has two American players in APA and Yeon. Yeon is American in nationality and that his ethnicity is Korean American. Others argue that Impact and CoreJJ are more NA native as they played in NA longer than in Korea (in my opinion I can kind of see it). Umpti is the only import since Impact and CoreJJ has been in NA LCS for a long time. Side note: I Learned that a lot of Europeans don’t know about being Amercian as a nationality and being Asian American as an Ethnicity.
