I don't advise anyone to go near nor attempt any of that with a crocodile unless it's deemed absolutely necessary, sure, it sounds easy enough on paper but when your shoulder blade is being twisted and torn to pieces as flesh flies through the air, it's not so easy.

    • @Sxxmaschine

that's right, however, croc's will first try to drown you IF you fight back, so it take's a while till they start to twist you in eatable chunks. not like i want to test it, but for people who live near crocodiles and aligators it's worth trying if necessary :)

    P.S
This comment was made before the thumbnail and title was changed, the title use to be “How to survive an alligator attack” and the thumbnail use to be a picture of a Salt Water Crocodile.
Wanna point out that the thumbnail isn’t a gator, it’s a crocodile. Simple differences are crocodiles usually are a creamy tan color, alligators are a dark muddy green color, crocodiles have skinny narrow jaws, alligators have wide thick jaws, crocodiles have sensors that look like little black dots all over their bodies, alligators have them around their jaws. Also the place where you encounter a crocodilian tells you a lot of what they are. A place like Texas tells you it’s most likely a gator. A place like Africa doesn’t even have alligators so if you run across a crocodilian you’re basically guaranteed that it’s a crocodile of some sort.

The article I read was mostly about the Mozambique, Gorongosa National Park but its happening all over. It's mostly happening to the female offspring and some of the males still do have tusks. There's more to it than that but, that's it in a nutshell. lol

Pinch his nose and he has to open his mouth???? How about "no"? worth a shot, but nothing is 100%. I've had to help plenty of people get their hands and/or arms out of a gators mouth... and we've tried it all, I've seen it work and I've seen it make the animal bite even harder. Also have you ever tried to move your hand around the inside of a crocodilian's mouth while it's crushing it? I have... it doesn't move. I'm sure there's a position where that's possible, but highly unlikely. I've broken up gator fights by putting my fingers in the ears.... tried that when someone got bitten, but it didn't work. Maybe get a stick into the mouth to open the palatal valve. But keep fighting is the most important thing. If someone else is there to hold animal down and keep it from rolling or shaking (obviously depends on the size of animal and how deep water is if that's where you get bitten) that's the first move always.

i always thought the reason zebras have stripes is so that when a predator is about and the zebreas stampede, the stripes all blend and meld together and the predators can't pick out an individual to attack.

😂 Those dogs with the tiger stripes are WAY too cute. At first I thought they were going to be some sort of tiny tiger/wolf hybrid. I don’t know about the human hair dye.. but as long as the dye used is completely safe for the doggies, I love it. I’ll have to ask mine how he feels about stripes…
And god bless those conservationists for such brilliant ideas! With some of the stupid things we spend money on, there should be plenty to go towards saving animals-the ones we hunt until extinction or near. I’m not against hunting at all; I know it helps population control, and of course we have to eat too. But, when you kill a (nearly) blind animal the size of a car only to take a tiny piece for profit and superficial reasons, you should be used as a decoy instead of a robotic deer 😂.

    • @takocos

When I took an animal psych course there was a study about elephants social intelligence, it's predictably really high, elephants are super smart herd animals, and because of that they have the same preservation instinct humans do where they like little cute things.
They're not scared of mice, they're scared of accidentally hurting mice. They're scared they'll step on them or something, the same way humans aren't scared of kittens that run under our feet, we're scared of accidentally stepping on that kitten.
You display a fear response, but you're not scared of kittens.
I just thought that was adorable. But that's the reason, we went ahead and got our best scientists on it. Elephants think mice are cute but really hard not to step on if they get under you.

2:32 - A polar bear is not an option...If you actually fight it. Thing is, if you hulk up and make a lot of noise, it wont try. Bears want to win, not fight. If it looks like you are more trouble than you are worth, they wont try. So act loud and tough, and odds are, the polar bear will walk or run away.
