My friends and I watched The Hidden on VHS. I remember that the alien parasite gave it’s host an appreciation for angry heavy metal music.

Gene was in a real fighting mood during this one. I'd say typically Roger throws the first punch, but Gene came out swinging and didn't give up.

I really like how Ebert called out Siskel on the Sender for saying the movie was bad because he couldn't believe it and didn't believe in dream telepathy.

I remember the original review.. Siskel joked it sounded like Ebert a crush on Katheryn Harrold..later during the "stinkers" section...Ebert commented how the skunk was related to the mink,, and Siskel`s line was classic "maybe you can give it to Katheryn Harrold on your date" ..movie was forgettable
