- Short mix reviewing the brand new Pioneer XDJ RX3. Awesome all in one controller. It took almost a month to arrive home, but this is the first mix with it. It's clearly an upgrade from the XDJ RX2. Amazing screen, and some new features as Track Preview, Pad Modes with Release FX, complete DJM900 NX2 beat FX and jog screen also.

I'm picking this unit up soon, I can't wait. I have been on the DDJ 800 for the last 4 years, and looking at this layout, basically the same. Just standalone and with a screen. I mainly look forward to the standalone functionality. Eff laptops, they always need updates and/or crash at the worst times. Plus they just get in the way. If it ain't on the USB, I don't have it, maybe it'll help keep requesters at bay too 🤣🤣

Nice mix, I only picked this unit up last weekend, it’s a scratch magnet but a nice machine, the big screen is a bonus, I see you take the bass out of the tracks in transition, vocal house i usually only toggle mid and that works a treat, keep up the great work.

Great mix! Just curious how a set with transitions like this would translate into a club or venue with CDJs without the beat FX specific to this unit. You would beat match the same way (with or without sync) but I guess there would still be some basic effects like echo, reverb etc?
This controller is the closest thing to a set of CDJs, would be extremely similar!

New selecta here and I found it interesting ya left the switch deck slider bar kinda in the middle the whole time that's cool. Didn't realize that was a better option for a full mix😅dunno the name of it but it's easier than the full transition of the track and volume setting eh? 🎉
I always use volume faders. Crossfader is almost disabled the whole mix unless the beggining, much convinient way :)

My unit does not sound as clear as this mix. What do I need to do? I use Serato Pro DJ?
Nah man nothing special. Just record your mixes straight to the usb, that’s why it sounds so good. It’s not audio from camera.

@@mzansibreakingnews8022 No, you must use the USB 2 slot (only) and press "Master Rec". It won't work on USB 1 slot.

Te deja una opción de poner una imagen en la carpeta raíz y creo que tienen unas medidas, no estoy seguro. Y luego cambias la opción a logo en vez de carátula
Hola ,una pregunta , tengo que recibir pronto mi rx3 y tengo una duda , por donde pasas el audio? Obs o irig,gracias
en mi caso usé la grabación directa desde la RX3, luego sincronicé con el vídeo. Pero podrías usar cualquiera de las que comentas.
@@LAZYSUNDAY o seagrabas por ejemplo el video con el movil mismo y luego editas en el ordenador y añades el audio grabado,si??..ok gracias
@@1josejcs-music exactamente. En mi caso usé una cámara tipo GoPro y al editar sustituí el audio de la cámara por el audio grabado. Yo te recomiendo grabar el audio con la RX3 porque va a ser como más calidad tengas de audio. Si buscas streamear entonces sí que necesitaras una Focusrite, la iRig que comentas o demás. Suerte con tu set y dale duro amigo.

What's the problem man? Be sure to turn on the device. The power button is on the back my man. Tell me if that works if not we can see what happens
