Man, I've just recently came across your channel. You are good at what you do! Kef was never a mainstream. Every Brayan and every Jessica will go for Sonys or Air Pods which is not a news. I have only one question: how loud they can play in your opinion in comparison to Momentum 3? Is the volume level noticeable? Thank u for your hard work!
Thanks Adam 🙏 The MTW3 can go extremely loud. It’s way louder than I would ever want to use it. Only a few earbuds can come close but I believe the Mu3 is not one of them. I’ve never done an A/B test with the two though. With that said I found the volume levels more than enough with the Kef so that should not be an issue.
@@AndysTechTone Thank you for the response! I am willing to let go a bit of the volume for the balanced and reach sound quality. The volume comes an issue when you go with old music. It's not that high on volume as new digital music to my opinion, and that's when some earphones are behind imo.
Hey finally found a decent review for Kef mu3s. I am torn between Sennheiser Cx true vs kef mu3. They are both on sale for about 80usd. What do you suggest to be a better deal sound quality wise? There is no real sound test for Kefs anywhere.
For the same money I’d pick the Kef but I never A/B tested the two earbuds so not sure which one would come out as a winner from a sound quality test. That said, for 80 bucks you cannot really go wrong with either of them…
Still trying to figure out why only left is hooking up to my phone, But when I tried to listen to this video the right was on only. Then I hit the button on the left and found it started playing the phone music so I have 2 different things playing at once. Then the left turned itself off. So odd never had this happen before.
@@Nico-lm5tl First, SBC is not as bad as most people might think. Second, AAC is supported too. Third, why would I pretend anything? That doesn’t make sense… By the way, have you heard the Kef buds and compared them to others before forming your opinion as I did or do you just pretend to know anything about them? 🤔
Thanks Henk. The B&O E8, Sony WF-1000XM3, Bose Sport Earbuds sound similarly good with minor differences. However, in terms of features the Kef cannot really compete with any of these above

@@avgonyma1 I'd pick the Kef for their size, comfort and sound. If you need better ANC and custom settings and EQ and all that then go for the Sony. I like the sound of the Kef better, not that there is anything wrong with the Sony, its just there is this extra warmth and sweetness in the Kef sound I like so much. But thats just me. I bet you can find pretty good deals on the Sony, so that's another thing to keep in mind

And the KEF: I have a pair of KEF on the shelf speakers and I like their natural sound and balance. That made me think I would probably like them... Tough decision. Thank you, helps a bit.
@@Imalogike I test new and different earbuds every week so it's only a select few that makes my daily rotation. These earbuds are still close to my heart for whatever reason but there are certainly more feature packed ones out there now in 2024. What are the others on your watch list?

Couldn't test them side by side but I love the sweet mids and the full bass on the Kef. The Sennheiser might have a more extended top end with some extra details though
@@lwwells why don't you like Sony? I will buy my earbuds tomorrow and 95% end with KEF's, because of great balance compare to "bassed Sony". But if you are ok with that, Sony is great: great ANC, nice feet and look.

JBL Reflect Flow, Jabra Elite Active 75T, Sony WF-SP800. These are all bass heavy buds and pretty loud too
I love kef but here i have a concern. In the page doesn't mention anything about hi res codecs. So this is why i'm in doubt about get them or not
No hi-res codecs on board but I don't know if you'd notice much of a difference if there was one to be honest...

I own Kef q950 that's what made me curious about these. I generally don't use earphones for music but I was just curious
They have headphone now too. Same design language but probably even better sound. Have tested those yet…
