I'm actually super terrible with my hair bc I don't have a regular hair person and the journey to find one has created some serious trust issues. Low key am thrilled a lot of people's hair will be either the same amount of split/ dead ends. We really are all in this together

I use those scissors for my golden retriever to cut matted hair off between grooming/washes BECAUSE they're so cheap. Lol horrible for actual hair cuts.

No lie, I was waiting for her knuckle to start bleeding too! 🤣🤣 But I tend to hurt myself by paying so much attention to one thing (this instance would have been the hair) that I completely lose sight of the surrounding things (the knuckle) and would 100% have cut myself while being super attentive 🤣🤣🤷♀️🤷♀️
I found your channel when searching “how to cut your own hair” in my quarantine desperation. I followed your video and OMG, I actually love my home hair cut almost as much as the salon. Now I am addicted to your videos. Your personality is so much fun and I learn a hell of a lot too. Where have you been my whole life! I didn’t 100% listen to your dry cut advice though. My OCD and risk taking got the best of me. I did however pinch the wet hair as I fanned the ends with the design of a fan paintbrush as I cut downward. Something just more satisfying to me cutting wet hair. I know, I know but it still came out pretty damn well.

Yes XD I went from like hair almost to my ellbows to chin length and now I have a (at the moment) very short pixie cut. I tried to grow it out again but I never got past my shoulders and decided to cut it shorter insetead. Idk what's coming next tho I'm staring to get bored again and I shaved it to like 3cm twice now. I'm either going to shave it completly or color it haven't decided yet XD

Sheila Bryant it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. i have hair similar to that and it’s so heavy on my head that a 1 inch trim and some layers looks like i shaved with all the hair on the floor afterwards. it makes my neck sore if it’s too long it gets so heavy

Hot glue is the mother of solutions. I used it instead of silicone to fill the gaps between our bathroom sink and tiles where the old silicone had come loose. Lasted a year. (Mind though that I'm a cosplayer and I made several armour costumes before that. lol I made sure to fill the gaps as smoothly as possible.)
If it goes wrong she can just glue it back on

followed this tutorial yesterday!! i’ve had hair down to my ass for years. cut off about 14 inches yesterday with this tutorial and dyed it jet black. it feels so much healthier and i feel so confident!!

I just tried your tutorial on my collarbone length hair. I recently bleached it, dyed it pink, then back to my original ginger and it was so damaged and thin at the ends it looked so sad. My waves were nowhere to be found.

I did the tutorial & it worked out wonderfully! My hair is naturally curly so after I straightened it I divided it into very small sections. I believe there was 8 in total. I didn't do the layering bc I have so much in there already, but I did take off 2-3 inches. There was a small section that was a little uneven in the back but my sis helped me fix it. After a few days I realized I need to go back in with a deeper angle to let the hair lay better when it's curly. Too much of a blunt end is never good for curly hair! Thank you so much for the tutorial!! I was in dire need of a cut & places are just now opening up around here. 💜

The pullingnit forward method actually works very well for me. I dont pull it up into a unicorn anymore though. That made my ends too thin and to a point. I now keep my hair down but pull it forward and cinch it under my chin. Then cut and point cut a little and when I let it loose it makes a subtle u in the back, and not a point. Honestly I prefer that to straight across. No matter, though, I love watching these! Brad is so sweet!

m m well if you think about it, running our fingers through our hair for 3+ years you get used to where your hair stops suddenly it stops sooner than before. It may not look super short but it feels that way because we’re on autopilot to brush through hair that is normally at our waist then suddenly is almost shoulders length.

Then again, did have my hair short before I grew it all those years ago, so I already experienced it once. Either way, her hair wasn't even short and that's a fact. Had a bob for a few years now and honestly, thank fuck! Long hair drags people down and I remember when I used to get my hair in my food/drink or get it caught in something. That shit was annoying. lol
