The song this reminds me of is Blood on the Motorway by DJ Shadow, written in 2002. Go to the 5:00 mark and listen. Same melody and drum drop as about a minute in on this track. They are far from the same song but holy cow what a coincidence. If not a coincidence then it’s a brilliant retooling of that part of the DJ Shadow song. The chorus that drops 1:00 in here is epic, just like all songs by the Hics. Either way, bravo.
