I am a 68 year old man here . I just began watching this series . I find myself emotionally involved with each show . The joy this program brings to both the people involved as well as the viewer is quite remarkable .... But the Norma & Franciscia story was beyond the pale .. It had me crying like a baby . THIS is what unconditional love looks like
Can we talk about how refreshing and humane it is that a TV show, in this day and age, has the courage to recognize that certain moments are just better away from the cameras? Much respect.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! 🥰🙏 ....because those are such private moments. I'm glad they don't show it. If they did I would forward over it. I don't like feeling like a voyeur.
Sadly that would never happen here in the United States. And I bet they'd say it's because we want to see it all. Personally I have so much respect that they do things privately, and I bet I'm not the only 1!
..in fact, it DOESN'T HAPPEN in the U.S. The version of this very show here films the whole ugly delivery of news when a person has passed. I love the U.K. show so much more for their decency and compassion over sensationalism and ratings.
It's refreshing to see that some journalists (hosts) understand privacy. So many times we see them give someone devastating news with a camera in there face and then ask "how do you feel". It's nice to see these folks have compassion and are thoughtful toward others.
Each of the interviewers, Divina and the man, both had searched for their own parents, because they too were adopted. Henceforth I believe, their compassion and humbleness. ❤
Absolutely one of the most beautiful human beings ever 🥰 so accepting and loving. I'm overcome with Emotion, abd gratitude and can't even stop crying. She's an Angel.I'm so happy for Francesca 💜

i wonder if she was ever able to get ahold of any uncles or cousins from her dad side of the family I'm sure they might feel blessed to have a piece of her dad still alive after dying so young in a car accident
Belinda Babette I don’t think it’s about that really. We have no idea if her father even knew he was going to be a father before the car accident. Her mother kept her a secret to her death so I’m sure you can imagine the possible rejection. Anyway, she didn’t ask about her father-she asked about her mother because of the physical attachment from when you’re born. There are a lot of great fathers out there. Did you not see the episode prior to this one? The guy was looking for his FATHER.
Belinda Babette and with the deal with Francesca it was already stated that they believe her birth father was probably a married man. No one wants to post that drama. They already do it on the American version.
This is the best show ever. I feels pure love through the screen. Intermittent balling and smiling. This is a go to if you are feeling sad or alone. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ there is pure unconditional love in this world.

Italians are so loving mostly... all the ones I've ever met... My father as an escaped P.O.W. from German capture rode over Swiss Alps on bicycle down to Italy Padua...Italian family hid him in their cowshed from German soldiers... He left his heart there and a possible half-brother/sister too...SA military took him & his friend back to SA under force... not too sure of details but often think of his maudlin heartache when talking about his war stories...
I've watched these episodes often. I love watching families reuniting. Our father left and we didn't see him again in England again, I had his address in South Africa so I went to meet him. His new wife was a lovely lady and made my stay very happy. Meeting father answered many questions for me. I stayed in touch often from a long distance, as I lived in several countries, up until his death.

I love the Families in this episode. With the Italians....Despite a language barriers they still speak the same language of LOVE. That’s amazing and so unheard of where I’m from in America. And the transgendered family made me cry. The acceptance was overwhelmingly BEAUTIFUL. That person is their CHILD no matter what. Amazing
In the late 70s when he realized he was gay, my brother told our mom. She had told us several years before that she wanted us to always be upfront with her no matter what the "issue" was. ...she would love us no matter. I think he was around age of 24. At the start, it was strange to her but she lived through the strangeness and eventually was able to accept his new identy. I was very proud that we had such a mom. Again thank you for sharing these stories!
Thank you Davina and Nicky for the great shows. You are both very touching, kind and genuine. I love the way you talk, hug and confort people in their sadness. Straight to the heart.

So sorry Maria never had the opportunity to meet her mom but Maria has her now thru her new found family. God bless u all.

Hello. American here and I recently discovered this show. I’ve been on a binge and ugly crying at every episode. Francesca and Norma’s journey truly, truly is the most beautiful journey I’ve watched. It’s so good to know it all ended so very well and that they can now build that strong relationship together as a family . . . Oh and yes I did cry with them as they invited us in their journey to find lost family ....well done ! 😁👍🏻
How beautiful is this courage to be all of yourself and be supported in that? Especially in this life where there are so many living in fear who project that as anger. Choose only those people in your life who expand you, see the beautiful soul in you and accept you for everything you are.
Both these made me tear up! So beautiful! The Italian family lining up behind her... & the Mom getting a Ruby jewelry set!!! The feels Damn it! The FEELS!
A particularly wonderful episode. Many missing parts found and healing of past sorrows. This show is so well done with a team of experts. I've watched them all and the tlc version. Cheers from USA.
There are so many things that are hard to understand, but some we don’t need to understand. Just offer love. How you make someone feel, how you treat them is all that will matter in the end. ❤️
These are such moving stories I can’t help but cry in gratitude for the birth mother, and Italian family that have so lovingly embraced their children. 💖😍
The way Francescas mom didn’t misgender her once. Absolutely wonderful person. The amount of love is overwhelming so I can’t even imagine how they felt

I did an ancestry DNA test with my sister for the fun of it n out of curiosity ..and ended up finding a half brother to our mom that her n her siblings never knew about. We cried so hard when we met him n it was pure love..it hurt to know that I went to school with my cousin, never knowing we were family and that my uncle was so close to where Ive lived all my life. But now we r all close. Ive been watching long lost family for years never thought it would happen to me
Yes, she is. The way she loves her baby. She really needed her mom, and she is so lucky to have an amazing loving mom who loves her unconditionally like mom's are supposed to, just beautiful. ❤ I hope the best for both of them.
Norma is a wonderful person. I believe her heart is solid gold. She accepted her daughter so easily and plans to be by her side as she transitions. So fantastic! I love this show! Klennex loves me to.....I think I own part of the company.......
The comment needs work, it should say ''She accepted her son so easily and plans to be by his side as he chasing after an impossible fantasy'' that would have been accurate if you wrote it like that, the way I suggested. Reality is that it is her son and he is a male, a guy, dude will forever be a male.

So touching so lovely. Sooo happy for Francesca, to have a supportive loving family, adding to that an equally supportive + loving birth mother. My father also died in a car accident when my mother was pregnant. First time ever I find someone with a simular family history.
These are two more beautiful stories!
Thanks for sharing all of these stories.
trying catching up with your episodes even it's 4yrs ago..i can relate because me and my siblings we grew up apart from each other that's another side of story..your stories make me cry but i love watching it ❤❤
I'm still rewatching these episodes SO many years later! Love it 🥰🥰🥰
The mother was wonderful. A true mother.
I love all these stories of families finding lost members...even ones they didn't know of. Bravo/Brava!!!
I absolutely loved this!
A lovely,respectful,heartwarming show...thank you!!❤❤❤❤😁
I’m loving the UK version thank you so much I know this is older but still, it’s new to me 🇬🇧
I ran out of tissue...nm, my shirt will do. Fran' just melted my heart
Same. Same. I had consumed about 3 rolls of tissue after 6 days of binging on this series
Why?
There are so many things I love about this show. It's all about family and not about judgement.
Oh im sorry i forgot to put thumbs up in all your videos that ived being watched.. its all lovely and likeable..
This makes my heart so happy. Thank you. 💗
That is the most attractive older woman ive ever seen. Her white hair perfectly complements her skin. Shes absolutely gorgeous.
Older ????
Thank you again i love these shows
Thank You so much for this post !!!!
Ive been watching long lost family for years never thought it would happen to me
What a wonderful program this is! Beautiful families!❤️
Just found this UK version of the show and I must say this is way better than the USA one.
Wow! The story of Francesca is so beautiful! I wish that level of love and support for all transgender folx from their families, just lovely.
What a wonderful feeling to see families finding one who had been lost for various reasons. I wish them days of joy and continued happiness.
Honestly This was the best episode I have seen so far. It's beautiful 😍
Francesca’s beautiful soul brought me to tears. What an absolutely lovely outcome.
Francesca birth mother is simply amazing 🥰
@@Vero2yu whatever, dear.....
@@lesha1492 Do not use lame and sick words when it is a stranger, so no words like ''dear'' smh, be neutral and stop wasting words.
@@Vero2yu whatever dear. Cheers.
@@lesha1492 I already said, do not write those words to strangers nor say, like really. Something is wrong with you so do not reply again, never say nonsense like ''dear'' and so on to randoms, wacko.
Smh.
Very colourful cemetery.I hope Francesca will have self -confidence and happiness from her mother's good company/ Bestr egards from Tunisia
Smh, dude get help, it is a guy and not a female. That is a male, a dude, so you should wwrite ''his mother'' and he will always be a him, he. Soo. Accept reality.
Literally impossible to change gender too, that guy only altered his looks, sooo.
Maria and her new family was a beautiful gathering.
Loved hearing her cousin speaking Italian.
Francesca and her mom was sweet.
They look so much alike.
There's some happiness and joy that I also feel when people meet their loved ones that fascinates me
One of the best episodes! Love the mom and daughter bond ❤❤❤
We are all created to be who we are...not who others want us to be.
R. Scott MacLeod ❤️
so true.
What an amazing episode. I cried so much.
I have been binge watching and crying like a baby!!
I watch a lot of these shows, this, both these stories had me crying more than any other, almost went through an enter roll of very soft toilet roll blowing my nose, wiping my eyes. So touching so lovely. Sooo happy for Francesca, to have a supportive loving family, adding to that an equally supportive + loving birth mother. And Oh Maria, so wished she had taken the journey 2 or 3 yrs before, but she now has her Italian family, they were soo welcoming, and Silvia, so loving, which is gold! Going to bed now, with these wonderful stories in my head + heart.
