Glad to see you Darren! 👍😁🍺 Yes I like ftd's channel and their site/store, never used their products or anyone elses snythetic hairs other than craft fur and "wig hair" from dollar stores. The price is right for all that stuff you get. Thanks for the endorsement. If it wasn't such an expensive year with plumbing, vehicle repairs and appliance replacement I'd jump on that gift box, lots of stuff for $50. (had to stop "craft brews" too ! 😭 ) Oh well, on the bright side our two week hot & muggy record breaking weather with a 90°+ heat wave has ended. Today I woke to a refreshing mid 50°s with a stiff breeze, more than 30° drop in temp. Supposed to stay in the 60 - 70 range for a few days! We have pretty much the same weather here except in Celcius lol. I'm welcoming the cooler weather as my tying room is sitting at just under 30 ( high 80's in F) with the AC on in the house. I'm sure I'll be tying more once the rain hits and fish get into the rivers again. 😎🍺
Piscator Flies If it wasn't for our three window AC units I'd be suicidal. I'm always temporing the air by opening windows in the evening and turning on the whole house fan. Then close windows and AC on at mid morning. 21.111°C is my breaking point, depending on the humidity. (Nice C & F humor! lol) Are you in a basement or first - second floor? That's too hot for me, I'd be sweating on the flies, at least you could moisten your marabou! But everything be sticking to you. I've tried fans but that blows materials away. I don't know how you do it but I guess you have too. I had to put a hoodie on today! 👍⛄🍺
Piscator Flies btw do you know a fly called the Little Swallow? It was tied by Giancarlo Donnilelle here on the u tube. Beautiful pattern. Wondered if it's an established pattern or an original.

+Joe Duca I work on the second floor, but the AC doesn't really reach my office. It's okay until about noon when the sun hits our west face. It turns into a literal sweatshop at that point. I'm fine up to about 26 degrees, after that, I'm starting to struggle. I don't think my room is well insulated as it gets cold in the winter as well. That is my next project to tackle.
The amount of materials per package is twice as much for half the price of others. He usually has Christmas sale like half off. Love the #FTD dubbing and his silly legs. Great video, tight lines =)
