"well.. well.. well I was in LOVE with her..."
Some of the people in the room don’t even belong in the word. Someone like billy, who has a stutter, isn’t dangerous on the level that he should be put in a ward. Ratched deserves to be put away somewhere.
yeah, he's not dangerous for society but he needs some kind of therapy because of the suicide attempts
MY BOYFRIEND AND THE MAN OF MY DREAMS
Hes in his 60s now
* 70.
R. V. i’ll be back in 10 years to comment 80s
I LOVE HER EYES
Her evil ass depraved eyes?? lol
Every scene of that picture is a fucking gem.
Cheswick earned himself a spot on Nurse Ratched's shit list for the comment he made.
This movie was totally awesome. Watch it on BlueRay or even an old DVD and it looks amazing clear for being recorded so long ago.
Louise Fletcher won 3 awards for her portrayal of Nurse Ratched. Well deserved.
This scene >>> Entire Chucky collection
So the girl basically rejected Billy and that prompted him to try and take his own life.
At 1:15 I hate how Billy goes along with everyone and laughs at himself. It shows he has destroyed his self confidence that he makes fun of himself too on things that he cares the most about
Or maybe it shows that he's able to see the humour in things?
@@fro_e No.
@@delete---7593 Compelling argument. I concede.
laughting is always good
0:59 Isn't the guy on the right not Johnny, the wise cracking shoe shine guy from Police Squad who knows an answer to everything from people around town, psychology and the newest music trends, sports and surgery? 🤔😀
Grima Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings
Doc Cochran in Deadwood
Doctor Emmett, The Peguin, Joker, and Chucky are in the same movie
Good observation. I didn't even catch that.
2 antagonists of 1988 in 1 movie. Judge Doom (Baron Von Rotten) and Chucky (Charles Lee Ray)
@@kantoking1518 3. Joker is evil too.
Batman wasn’t until a year later in the early 90s. I’m talking about the Super L80s. (Super 80s + Super ladies + late 80s)
Love this flick, but I hate how Ratched used her long-standing friendship with Billy’s mother to ultimately destroy him.
Sociopaths collect an arsenal of psychological weapons to control & harm others. Beware of the overly friendly inquisitive person esp on first encounter with them.....
her mother is part of it for sure
Ernie Harwell on the radio announcing the game. He was an announcer for the Detroit Tigers tip
It's a shame she didn't die in the end billy didn't deserve to die poor kid
I used to stutter just like billy did but even worse, I could not even talk for 3 1/2 Years, People would make fun of me in school. But I finally did come around and it was like the weight of the world was lifted off of my shoulders, Kids can be cruel and it is not funny. I had to fight my way out of it.
She is the very definition of a sociopath
What brilliant movie
Brad was soo effing cute in this movie
The Big Nurse even looks like Pap's caretaker,Donna..
Acts like her, talks like her, has her complete attitude.
Living with this woman in the house is a real trial...
Kinda makes me sick that they're trying to turn Ratched into a YAS Queen with that Netflix show.
It's like they never even saw the movie.
I think the same way.
Dude acted his ass off.
Ratched is a real

KILLER EYES
She has nice eyes
I can see the nurse is the protagonist, zero emotion, but still has a dedication to making their lives miserable
Ratched is just like a Catholic nun back in the day. No question...she was in the wrong uniform.
I believe you. Trust me i've seen kinder women in authority than those types.
Perfect analogy, coming from a gal who was attending a catholic school in the 60’s from 1966-1972, ohhh, some of those nuns were absolute BITCHES!!!!! Meaner than U could imagine...HATED that school w/a passion!!!
George Burns for the Sunshine Boys?? please, more proof that the Oscars are lame. Brad Dourif was the obvious choice, but the Academy got sentimental.
They do that often.
Damn right
@@m.e.d.7997 Well Burns was a vet, while Dourif was a rookie.
Is that Wormtongue?
Now I see why they call her Ratcheted
Back in the winter of 75' this movie hit the theatres, Cuz Al and I (a couple of old Van, BC hippy boys)
were up in Edmonton Alberta, well we went to the theatre and both did a hit of acid and walked in ..
when it was over we were peaking and walked home across town in the coloured sparkly snow
Hit the US theatres in early Fall 1975.
I loved Chez.
This movie and this evil human being brings back memories of the first time I ever had to hold back my anger.
