This truck Is based on the real truck on buy a Mattel employee. So that is why it has logo and and number on the door. The one thing I wish it had was the opening tailgate. That is one thing I think it is missing. It's a cool piece. The only elite 64 that I bought. I don't buy to many hot wheels anyways. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for your comment! I didn't know it was based off a real truck, thats pretty cool. But yeah, I totally agree, the tail gate should have been a moving part. That would have COMPLETELY changed this casting, especially since you can move the spare and gas can out of the way on a hinge, it would have been an awesome way to display it!

You probably thought of this, but putting that gas can holder and spare tire, could have used used a pair of needle point pliers. That did look difficult and a bit fragile. Thanks for the video. Overall nice casting. Actually, I'm the kind of person who would just enjoy if it were already configured, or I would configure it once and leave it. Like a tiny dab of CA glue for the mirror or the snorkle.
It didn't even cross my mind lol. I don't think I have pliers that precise enough! Yeah definitely a bit fragile. I did however consider just glueing some of the smaller pieces in place! Its going to be a static display so it shouldnt be a problem. Thanks for your comment!!!! :)

I got mine and all three looked like they had been opened on one side. One of the trucks had enough flaws that I sent it back to Mattell and they will send a replacement.
Hopefully it looks mint in the box because I want to keep it boxed.
Strange...I know when the McLaren RLCs came out most of them look like they had been played by a toddler then packaged up and sent out. I havent been hearing this about these trucks, but my buddies did have some paint chips oh his too which is a TOTAL bummer. I hope your new one is flawless bud!!!
