Rebecca, Thank you for this. Especially inspiring is seeing the sorts of things that catch YOUR eye and then wondering what mine are. I find what I call "little weavings" very liberating right now. I don't worry about their end, I am more immersed in what I am doing now, in the moment. Whew! What a relief!
Hi Rebecca! Your videos are so helpful and inspiring! I have just started weaving and I have been a spinner for a while. What size yarns do you spin for your tapestries? Are they single ply, 2-ply, etc.? How many wraps per inch? What sett are your smaller weavings? Thanks so much for taking your time to teach us!
Hi Angela! I recently put two posts on my blog about yarns for tapestry. What makes a good tapestry yarn was on January 25th and Can you use knitting yarn for weaving tapestry was Jan 18th. Check those out! www.rebeccamezoff.com/blog/2018/1/5/what-makes-a-good-tapestry-yarn
My small weavings are usually 12 epi. I weave my large pieces at 8 or 10 epi. There is actually a huge difference in those setts and the weft has to match. Lots of information about it all on my blog and I teach online classes here: www.rebeccamezoff.com/online-learning/
I am such a newbie! But so excited! I went to your website and I can't afford the retreat but I am going to watch your youtube video and hopefully I can stop considering myself a newbie in time. What is that tool you are using - it' like a manual sheddle??? I want one but I guess I'll be using just my hand. I've already purchased a loom and I've got so much cardboad to make my own. One big box that my 49" tv came in. Such beatiful patient work you do. WOW!!
True! very true for writers or painters is calles the fear of the white paper! in starting something to weave it happens to me the same! great video

You are speaking right to me, Rebecca. Thanks for all your inspiration here and on your blog and in your classes.
Being able to watch someone else weaving in real-time is very helpful.
I wish I had your creativity - but I'm so glad I get to enjoy yours!
This was exactly what I needed thank you.
You are such a star and inspiration, thanks so much Rebecca. Love the quirky replay bits at the end lol xxx
This is wonderful, Rebecca. Thanks for the inspiration!
merci beaucoup pour vos vidéos
An inspirational and informative video, thank you

Madam, where to buy the small loom as in the video image? thank you
do you always work with a double warp edge
Almost always... depends on a few things like equipment and warping technique as well as warp size.
