Why does commentator always say mortal counter when that is only when your risk gage is full and you get hit? Or is there a different name for that?
I thought mortal counter was just a level of counterhit where it does the slow, zoom-in, full COUNTER letters behind the characters... thing. And yeah, one way to get it is full RISC
Yea mortal counter is just what we say for big counters when the screen goes dark and the game slows down. At full risc it procs on any hit, otherwise it depends on the move that gets the counter hit, S, H normals, and some specials get a mortal counter.
Mortal Counter is a mechanic from Xrd, which the commentators are sometimes more used to.
In Strive there isn't anything called Mortal Counter, but if your RISK is full any move that hits becomes a level 4 move, which is very similar to Mortal Counters from Xrd
@@juniperrodley9843The moves that do that are attack level 4 moves such as Nago 2H or Sol 5H. There are 0-4 different levels a move can have. The higher the number, the more hit-stop and time to confirm and "harder" the hits feel.

Asuka is garbage I'm not sorry. This is a fighting game and he's playing Magic the Gathering. Same thing with Crappy Chaos, he's playing Call of Duty. Two of the worst addictions to a fighting game in the history of fighting games.
