Sensing his own lightsaber, or anything for that matter, is probably automatic to him. He can do it without it showing. Using the force to lift things is another matter, though.
The issue I always have with these is they do not make the villains believable. It would make more since in the inquisitor scene if he said "Their compassion leaves a trail. That same compassion that fooled you into trusting them all those years ago. He is deceiving you just like they did then" Or something like that. I always thought that when they were saying he was supposed to bring balance to the force, that's exactly what he did, the balance was so heavily sided on the Jedi, so many Jedi in the Galaxy but only a few sith, said 2 always, master and apprentice . So by killing all the Jedi he did balance the force
I’m pretty sure when you first see obi wan cutting meat you can just barely hear qui gon say obi wan. It’s super easy to miss
oooo yeah? What timestamp?
@@Geeksmithing I notice it at 12;35 ish
@@historybuff1993 I can hear something but it's really hard to tell if it is someone talking or just a coincidence.
I loved the first 2 episodes. Only thing I didn't like were the Inquisitors.
I like the inquisitors so far. It’s just the Third Sisters entitlement that bothers me. It seems to bother other characters too. My biggest worry is that they will try to make Third Sister standup and even compete with Darth Vader. Sure this is still “Anakin Vader” in a sense. But he would still dispose of Third sister without a thought.
@@christianhelton5838 other shows and games have done a good job of showing Vader's power, and he's supposed to fight Kenobi at some point in this. If he goes against an inquisitor it will be heavily one-sided.
@@christianhelton5838 i don’t like reva but I’m a fan of the other two
They are not evil or menacing enough
9:51 Also "You're looking for somebody else" almost same as "These are no the droids you're looking for"
9:27 "This season"
Oh god, no one told him
Patiently waiting for you guys to tell me what I missed in episode 3. Such a great series so far!
Much better than I thought it was gonna be
Cybercristals are known to be force-trackable so I believe that’s how obi-wan could find the lightsabers
I absolutely love the Inquisitors. They're intimidating every time they're on screen, and in that bar scene, the Grand Inquisitor showed just as much brain power as Darth Vader (and they work for him coincidentally), it really takes me back to the days when the Star Wars villains weren't just good at fighting, but smart as well. And I gotta love those spinning lightsabers OMG
The cosplay crew? Really?
Yeah and how about that repetitive open disobedience shown to the grand inquisitor who does nothing about it. What a lame story here.
the character design is terrible for all three and the spinning lightsabers are another joke example of disney trying and failing to reinvent the wheel
@@jakesevere9165 Disney didn’t make up the spinning light sabres for the inquisitors
Why do the replies have to be so negative? Like I said, this community is judgmental.
Beru wearing the same clothing for another 9yrs 🤣🤣
One of the kidnappers is Falleen (like Prince Xizor) and IIRC, it's the first time we have seen one in live action
Great episode. I had one thought in the beginning like if your gripe against your foe is that they're compassionate and will always help others, when does it sink in that you're the bad guys?
Every time I see Order 66 play out, I get chills
This series is going to be great!
Keep dreaming :D
@@-Triumph why tho
So far the first 2 episodes have been amazing. Seeing Obi-Wan in live action again brings back nostalgic memories and great joy.
@@-Triumph 🤣🤣🤣
Tell me, why does Kenobi believe the Jedi order is vanquished and yet he’s waiting to train Luke the ways of the Force all the while neither practicing nor believing he’s no longer a Jedi wtf. Not even in secret.
I'm glad that they're showing this!! I've always wondered what happened after Anakin becomes Vader......more importantly how Obi-Wan recovers from his PTSD 💯💯💯
The Jedi Code is like an itch is my favorite quote so far! Sick af
The cleaning of the blade could also signify the discipline he had from being military personnel
8:35 beautifully done erik
It was pretty cool to see child Leia
13:10 clearly a reference to Episode 1 when Qui-Gon told Shmi that he wasn't on Tatooine to free slaves.
Definitely gonna be one of the top shows in 2022 p.s love the great work you all do, keep it up
Nari was talking with Obi-Wan reminded me of Rey talking with Luke. Especially Nari saying, “What happened to you?” And Obi-Wan replying,” “The Jedi are over,”
yeah ! Erik agrees with me
Did Lola not remind anyone of Batteries Not Included!’?
I think it's obvious that Reva will be killed at the end of this
Thank god
Hopefully
Fingers crossed
Excellent review! I follow a few people who review films and TV shows and this was SO thorough and clever, with such skill, you could rivel a Jedi.
Love the Easter eggs! Keep up the good work🤍
When I saw obi wan taking the box with his and anakins light sabers I thought i had seen that years ago.... then i remembered a kenobi fan film that definitely predicted this
I’ve been looking forward to this
The chase scene with Princess Leia was ridiculous .
Lmao yes
Only bad scene in both the eps
What are the odds that the security sensor that Ben uses, is actually part of R4-D5?
i thought about this as well
That chase scene was at the very least uber ridiculous!
the Obi Wan series that has Reva as protagonist. Cant wait to see Cal Kestis
Did you watch these 2 episodes? Leia is more of a protagonist than Obi-wan.
Lola looks like a bot from "Batteries Not Included" movie in 1987.
I have a feeling Reva saw Anakin kill younglings during Order66.
Yea most likely, idk how most ppl can’t make this connection
0:56 You can also see the Senate building. Makes sense as that is the Ground Zero for Order 66.
“Hello there”
“General Kenobi”
@@NickGur420 “Ur a bold one”
Kenobi spends most of this episode like a Gen X'er having to live in a galaxy where prequel lore has become more loved than the original trilogy
Ah yes much needed vid
You are the best at these break downs
I sense something. A presence I have not felt since...
Leia's Droid reminded me of the robots from Batteries Not Included.
