Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for your help
liked and thanks!
No problem 👍
Very concise thank you.
You're welcome!
I do not understand the subtraction with line 4 and 5. Example if I make 70k a year and have paid 9k in taxes of course there will be a number left over so do I owe the irs the remainder of my wages?
thanks, i went through major trauma surrounding money, taxes, and fraud. I didn't file last year. I dont understand taxes and its all dumb. I just wanna go to jail and rot. This is all stupid.
Thank you so much, could you make a video about form 8949 instruction?
Probably won't get it out for this year, but definitely on the docket!
@@APennyPinchersGuide Thank you so much. Really need a video instruction on these forms
Its making me fill out the 1040 to file the extension?
what if I Have not got my W2, the reason why I am doing extension, if so how would i figure out about the number 4 and 5, tax liability and payments?
We cover that exact situation in this video “IRS Form W2 Explained”

If the amount you’re paying in line 7 is 0, do you still need to add the bank details? If so, for what? IRS rejected my application due to missing bank account info.
How do we even know what amount to put there? And is it possible they can take more from our account since they have our bank info?
If we agree to doing an electronic withdrawal then they will automatically withdraw the taxes and we do not have to do it manually through the website, right?
I would think you can submit another filing extension, but I'm not entirely sure
@@APennyPinchersGuide Sorry, I meant to say that through the free file fillable form (the one demonstated in this video) to be able to file, they ask for a bank account, routing number, and withdrawal date. This means that they will be withdrawing the estimate of total tax liability for 2022 at that withdrawal date and that I will not need to do it through the IRS.gov payment portal, correct?
@@missandreapascale update?
@@infinitebrave6958 Haven't had anything automatically withdrawn yet. Will check again later in the day.
@@missandreapascale thank you, keep me posted!
