Close shave Paul💈💈 Paul H over-shaving! say it ain't so😊 No worries, just enough claret to enhance the already stunning display presented by Mrs H, thank you😎 Never seen that shave cream or the blades for sale here, must be Euro only. 36F here so, SOTD: PAA Cube, Declaration Grooming "Darkfall" soap/splash/EDP, Elite Razor custom badger, RazoRock Gamechanger .84 w/KAI blade, alum, Thayers witch hazel and AV 5 in 1 balm...Outstanding👍 Great video and chat as always. Enjoy!
Good day Paul, For minor weepers like you had, I start with the Alum block, followed by a styptic pen, and if all fails I resort to the "Japanese flag" (a small corner, ~5x5 mm, from a Kleenex, applied directly to the small bloody spot. REMEMBER not to forget to remove BEFORE entering the office!) Alain Montreal, Canada
Best wishes from north-germany and stay safe!
Hi Paul- Great mid-week shave; thank you! Lovely flowers from Mrs H, especially the roses; thank you! I hope you have a great rest of the week. Take good care and be safe and be well. See you on Sunday for the weekend shave. All the best, Paul!
Just got back into wet shaving after a 5+ year hiatus, ordered me a merkur 15C, Parker shavette and some perma sharp super blades. I used to use Wilkinson sword blades in my Gillette slim adjustable when I was in the army.
Awesome shave Paul! My shave today is sterling barbershop scent soap with a rockwell 6c on setting 4 with a rockwell blade, with a ferdinahan synthetic brush and Florida water as my post shave
Thanks for the video and very nice flowers! SOTD: Rockwell 6s 6 plate with a Bic Chrome Platinum blade, WCS Chypre soap and AS, WCS synthetic brush, and if needed Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 balm. Have a good rest of the week! Steve
Another good one. My next will be a first with the Muhle Rocca, TOBS tobacco, Omega badger brush, Thayers witch hazel, Fine Platinum aftershave, and Speick after balm. Looking forward to using the new razor.
SOTD: EDWIN JAGGER DE86(RUBBER HANDLE) FEATHER BLADE(1ST USE) NIVEA(SENSITIVE SKIN) SHAVING GEL NIVEA SENSITIVE AFTER SHAVE BALM I’m new to your channel, but I’m really liking it so far. See you Sunday my friend! Cheers from Argentina!
Nice shave Paul.. Mrs H is certainly earning her keep with another great display, thank you Mrs H. Just got some Aspen myself lovely scent. Have a great rest of the week to you both. Stay safe:-)
Good evening Paul! I attempted to be your first viewer and leave the first comment. However, 15 seconds after the video was released, a fan beat me to it. Stunning flowers Mrs. H!! The look of the Parker razor is nice. The Gatsby shaving cream; I think you have used years ago. Either you or some other UA-cam shaver. The Wilkinson Sword Economie blade; always wondered about those. I am happy to see you like the first pass and use. Try as I might, I can not make folks understand that certain blades work best in specific razors. This problem is amplified when one has a collection of razors and blades. I see the blood letting has begun "You can't get closer than blood!" PaulHFilms TM. My face looks the same my friend...always. We are obsessed with smooth. SOTD: 1960 Gillette Super Speed Blue Tip loaded with a Feather Hi-Stainless blade (5th use). Pre-1960 Williams Mug soap lathered with a Simpson Chubby 2 synthetic brush. Very creamy and slick lather! I wish they would make the Mug soap like this again. 3 pass plus pick-up shave. Finished with 1960 Williams Ice Blue Aqua Velva (as the astringent) and PAA Sacre Bleu (same type of scent as the vintage Aqua Velva, but long lasting) aftershave...just a few drops! DFS result. Can't always get a BBS...thought I try. lol. You ought to try medical super glue on those weepers...works great! I love styptic pencil, yet I found powder styptic works even better. I have a whole inventory of these product...for just such an emergency. You, sir, always making shaving look fun and entertaining. Thank you. Stay healthy and safe.
Hope you all are well. My SOTD (for tomorrow will be): Proraso White Sensitive pre shave. Gillette Heritage. Gillette Super Stainless (Green) on it's first use. Yaqi Mysterious Space 26 mm Tuxedo brush. Stirling Sharp Dressed Man soap. Post shave will be the leftover lather rubbed on to my face and left while I clean my gear.
Morning Mr h, once again a great display for your video. Mrs H has done well. I love your videos, always a great start to my days. Always stay positive and great shave, stay safe and healthy
Nice shave Paul, keep up the good work mate!! I have sensitive skin with coarse and thick beard hair. I shave every day because of my job and today I used Merkur 15c open comb razor, arko soap, Elios inox blade and a synthetic yaqi brush. Also, I used alum block, gillette cool wave splash and nivea balm 100% alcohol free for post shave. Absolutely stunning shave, as it is for me most of the days, with and across the grain. Two passes are more than enough for every day shaving especially with an open comb razor, in this case not so aggressive though. Cheers and greetings from Greece!!
SOTD: L'Oreal Men expert face wash, Razorock Tuscan Oud soap and aftershave, King C Gillette razor, Voskhod blade, Omega alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Razorock Bruce brush, Dove Men's care face lotion. A beautiful start to the work day.
That is a nice looking razor. I ordered a bucnch of things for my shave den and today the racks for my safety razors and shavettes come along with a few shavettes. I'm still waiting for several soaps to ship.
Great shave. My SOTD for Thursday is gonna be of a Dorco PL602 razor with a Personna blade, the Nivea Shave Stick, the Aqua Velva Ice Blue and Gillette aftershave gel to cap it all off. All of these are a nod to when I started wet shaving. I’ve been using better products since then, but I’m contemplating buying better soaps and creams to enhance my wet shaving experience
