Vizio TV Turns OFF By Itself After 3 Seconds: How To Fix

Guys the minimum auto off or sleep is more than 10 minutes, you have a power issue if it's turning off before then.

My tv turns off too quickly to get to settings. Only button the remote that work are volume an input nothing else will work

@Kat-ik6io sounds like a power relay issue. Did you try getting in touch with Vizio support?

I think they're trying to make us buy a new TV. All my other devices work.

If the TV turns off after 3 seconds then you can not access the settings menu, so this is all irrelevant.

@MCrepairMAN the first batch of fixes i recommend is to check for power issues. This section basically should cover most hardware faults as well.
The other fixes that require access to the settings menu are for those who have issues relating to a timer or power saving setting that they have configured

today my tv got u plugged by accident. Not the part that goes into the wall but it came off by the end from the tv. And i didn’t plug it back in until hours later. Do you think it’s the power supply? Like if i get a new power cord do you think that could fix the issue. Bc my outlet works for sure
