I used to be afraid to watch this guy. I thought he wont have anything to give. But I am impressed. He just need to polish his voice a bit to be like his dad. Well done Seun
O kare Seun!!!.... (well done Seun).......an apple never falls too far from it's tree, omo oko ni e. True son of your father...Abami eda is an impossible act to follow, let alone surpass, but you are trying. Keep it up!!!
SEUN IS THE PERFECT CLONE OF FELA KUTI IN EVERY ASPECTS INCLUDING IN GESTURE.WITH MUCH DIFFERENCES TO HIS BROTHER FEMI.IT WOULD BE FUN TO WATCH HIM PERFORMS IN FEW YEARS TO COME WHEN HE MUST HAVE MATURED SERIOUSLY WITH THE EGYPY '80 BAND.
Very good musician and what a talented band. Its very reminiscent of his father Fela Kuti. I'm lucky I got to see them at Floydfest 2011 and now have the pleasure of seeing them at JTMF in a couple of weeks.
Seun is leading Fela's band so the music hasnt changed but Femi's band is called Positive Force a little different from the style of Fela"s Egypt 80. Definately Seun is quite closer to Fela in terms of his music and style.
Plus it's just plain awesome to listen to. The Roots-on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon-would truly be honored- I am sure-to play along with Seun Kuti and Egypt 80!
Seun is good and he is good with the sax but what happen to Fela's keyboard ? Fela is three in one in his instrument of music, his sax, keyboard and local drums, i need to see Seun play this three instruments like his father.
Fela has come again. Best music and it's the best musician in the world. Real music. Keep it up am so proud to see you doing great.
Seun is so talented in his OWN right....I not only see him, but I can see his dad as well. Together they are powerful! Much RESPECT!
I went from Shreveport to Lafayette to see him live & it was really a mad fun. Baba Lives on

A chip off the old bloke! RIP Fela and long live Seun.

Seun is keeping the spirit of the Kalakuta Republic alive. Thanks so much for posting this.
I've seen him three times here in Los Angeles and he just keeps getting better
He has mastered his father's signature dance moves.
Always the best 👍
