Nice video. I wanted to see if I can do some upgrades as my VR headset said I need to upgrade the video card. I guess my computer is pretty old now by computer standards.
Call me cautious but I wouldn't use flammable material to have that SSD fix in a better position. Thing is, without something underneath the SSD, it does look pretty wobbly so I'm not sure if that would impact the user experience down the road. It's a tricky situation with these things. I was thinking of upgrading my machine but was told that "Alienware, especially their older systems, often use proprietary components--they're non-standard and therefore not easily upgradable or replaceable. And even if the motherboard were standard and could support a modern graphics card, there's a strong chance the system's current power supply would be insufficient, another part that would likely be hard to replace or upgrade." Is that true? Can I save myself money by upgrading GPU and other parts or not at all? I'm somewhat computer savvy but not when it comes to hardware.
