I have loved this song for years.....I do mean YEARS!!! Have listened to it as a single woman, as a single mom. In my 20's, through my 30's, 40's up til this current day.
I'm sitting here well past 50, almost 60 thinking, "Wow this is my story". After nearly 20 years of giving my time, affection, money, praise and energy to God (instead of a man)... God groomed me during those years to be a wife. And, when most people say, "oh if I'm not married by now then it ain't happening"....... I saw an old HS classmate on FB and we are now married 2 and a half years. In my mid 50's!!!!!!!!!! And I was 35 pounds overweight, going to work on the bus.
I thank my heavenly Father! I do. I'm like, "hold up, wait, this is my song FOR REAL REAL".
