Lyrics:
Whispering in his ear
My magic potion for love
Telling him I'm sincere
And that there's nothing too good for us
And I just got to be me, free, free
Whispering in his ear
My magic potion for love
Telling him I'm sincere
And that there's nothing too good for us
But I want to be free, free, free
And I just got to be me, yeah, me, me

My father loved Denise Williams so much. He played this song and other songs by her . He passed on Valentine’s Day 2020. I was in office max last week to get a blow up picture of him for the funeral. As I sit waiting in there .. the worker played Denise Williams song “Free” and then another song by her right afterwards. I knew that was my Dad communicating to me that he is ok. I almost broke down in the store. What are the odds that out of all the songs the employee could have played off his phone, it would be her. We miss u dad. You were only 62 yrs old smh 🤎
Your Dad was a G..Sorry for your loss..RIP..he's smiling on u..

It isn't dead. Got to search but it didn't die I can be for certain in saying that there are some young pioneers around me that have the soul music in them. Too bad these industry folks only want to promote violence, lies, and false narrative of black culture.
They're talking all the good music out like this and replaced with bs!! They know if they play it, our youth, especially black youth would like it and get back to reality, they want to keep youth with stupid music and bs reality!! Remember that!😊

None other than PR Nelson did actually once say Deniece has the voice of an angel......
This song popped up in my playlist at the right moment..i just got out of a relationship and instead of feeling dumped, i feel 'free'..finally free from the abuse..this song is so fitting in some way...
Same here...preparing fornt he break...it hurts but I wanna be free!! I NEED to be FREE!
Hi from Providence, RI, relationships take humility, trust, the ability to communicate feelings NOT thoughts, unconditional forgiveness and a complete lack of keeping score via a resentment list, true love is difficult because there are two types in the world: givers and takers, anything outside of two givers, it's destined to fail, today, so many people have mental health issues they never address and carry their baggage into relationships, somewhere along the line, the team, two friends, simply implode and it's sad but it's indicative of larger issues, remember: you are not here to make anyone happy, nor are people here to make you happy...that's not reality
Don't know you, but I love this for you❤
The voice of an angel.
Deneice Williams one of the best, yet most underrated R&B singers of all time!
@Kimble Simpson yes she was. and STILL is.
she wasn;t underrated where I come from
That underrated comment is overrated.
Unfortunately talented black artists usually are ignored or not acknowledged as they should be while talented or untalented white artists are rewarded. Off topic but please vote for Whitney daily to be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She is #6 and only the top 5 are voted in. Also please vote for Chaka/Rufus who are also deserving but are near the he bottom of the voting.
Never underrated...this woman is an icon
"I want to be free....
