Every video that I have seen of woman in military/combat is _full_ of comments from angry, fragile men talking about how women are weaker, more emotional, etc and shouldn't be in battle.

The fucking sexism in this comment section makes me sick. Women aren't exactly the same as men, nor should they be, but that does not eliminate them from being able to do the same jobs as men. These women are extremely brave, and understand the amount of discrimination they will get from men in the military. Serving their country shouldn't be decided by if they are male or female. If they have the guts to do it, and CAN do it. Let them.

A black man walks into an office where they are accepting job applications, he is overly qualified and is very experienced. Yet he is rejected the job because "He's black." Is that okay? Because if it is in your book, then your ideologies are royally screwed up my friend.

Looking way back at the IST, do you know how many men failed it because of how out of shape they were? As a percentage, we women blew them away so don't give me this "we're inferior to men crap". Women, and men, shouldn't be in the Corps unless they want to be but how about showing us the respect we deserve.
I'm proud of are Female Marines they have more honor than most of you .

there's more to war than a pft. War is not a cross fit class. That is the BARE minimum standard and in the end it will be adjusted to allow a healthier dose of girls in the door. Going back to fed law enforcement in the late 70s, the "one standard" lie has been advanced to gullible, cucked men to allow them in the door. Once in, it's over, whether they meet the "one standard" or not.
This country hasn't been in a real war for so long that we just don't know how much is at stake. Some wars must be won and that will take large amounts of blood and testosterone, as it should be in such a regrettable, aberrant milieu as war is.
I love all the sexist comments, while at the same time not knowing that female Soldiers and Marines, Airmen and Sailors have died in combat. Or the fact that 20% of the Red Army during WW2 was female, Lyudmilla Pavlechinko is the highest scoring female sniper in history, with over 300+ German kills to her credit. She atually had a War Bond drive in America, where she famously said "I have killed 300 Fascist pigs, what have you men done for your country?" And sold War Bonds like hot cakes. Hell, the first contact at Stalingrad by the 6th Army was by a battalion of AA guns who held off tanks. When the Germans got there they discovered all the Soldiers manning the guns were women. And they still managed to destroy 3 German tanks, with fucking AA guns. Whoopdeedoo a female wants to be a Marine, they want to fight, why deny them that heritage, it's not just men who are warriors. You sound like the people who say gays destroy the military, no one gives a fuck what you think reality proves otherwise. They do their fucking job because they are Soldiers.

i believe that women should be able to serve in the front lines if they meet the EXACT same requirements. Im not entirely sure if men and women platoon perform as well as an all men platoon, because i heard someone say that the coed platoon performed around 60% less than the all male platoon. Im not entirely sure but if this is true then we shouldnt put them together because that might hurt the mission. If this isnt true then sure why not? If the "60%" better thing is true then we should make all male (which most platoons are) and all female platoons for the front lines. idk if what im saying is true im just saying my opinion.

everybody likes the way this sounds but the two problems are: 1) the standards will be advertised for public consumption as being exactly the same, complete with political generals backing it; 2) even if theoretically able to pass the BARE MINIMUM standard to advance in training, women are a distraction and are unsuitable for combat roles.
As for standards, this same gibberish was being uttered back in late 1970s when females were being pushed into fed law enforcement. There was going to be one standard there, too. Next thing you know, there was a separate female test and today (and for past couple of decades anyway) women are by official or unofficial quota, 20% of every fed agency. No one even mentions standards anymore and that's it. The lie worked and no one was going to try to get women out from way back after they shoved the first few hundred in way back in the mid-80s. So much for standards.
Also, assuming theoretically, such standards were met, men are still going to be distracted by women to the point of putting already dangerous missions in even more danger. 19-year olds are going to be pressing upon each other; carrying out personal hygiene literally right on top of each other in blazing weather for extended periods; there are hair issues, period issues, pregnancy issues, assertiveness in killing up close and personal on command (yes, testosterone makes a difference here, too, just like our voices, facial hair and muscle mass), men neglecting mission and buddies to rally to the girl who needs them, etc.
This is one of the many insane things happening in this troubled country that most have had shoved at them and, being spiritually and otherwise ignorant, don't have a clue.

They allowed women to try out for the Royal Marine Commandos, as far as I know only one tried out for it, and she fractured her leg in training.

Silver girl I want to join the military but all these comments are really degrading. I'm only 14 already training for the Marines or the Army. I'm doing what my Mother couldn't do, do to unfortunate events. I hate all these sexist people.
Better get prepared to receive sexist comments on social media and in training, but don't worry it'll be worth it. Military was best decision of my life so far, but of course I just started because I'm 17 so I might make another greater decision later. But I passed asvab and meps no problem, now BMT training was when I got to meet some amazing people. You'll really test your strength, brains, and discipline. Best advise I can give you is that people will give you crap whether you're female or male, but the best thing you can do is ignore it because at the end of the day you will be the person protecting them and your country. I have done combat training with women in school of infantry. they were worse at every event as scored, and we're permitted to continue training even when they failed events just so a couple could say they they graduated infantry school.
the next day the papers said females passed same combat training as men.

Having women in an infantry unit will disrupt the infantry’s identity, motivational tactics, and camaraderie. The average infantryman is in his late teens or early twenties. At that age, men are raging with hormones and are easily distracted by women and sex. Infantry leaders feed on the testosterone and masculinity of young men to increase morale and motivation and encourage the warrior ethos. Few jobs are as physically and emotionally demanding as the infantry, so to keep Marines focused, the infantry operates in a cult-like brotherhood. The infantry is the one place where young men are able to focus solely on being a warrior without the distraction of women or political correctness. They can fart, burp, tell raunchy jokes, walk around naked, swap sex stories, wrestle, and simply be young men together. Although perhaps not the most polite environment, this is the exact kind of atmosphere that promotes unit cohesion and the brotherly bond that is invaluable. This bond is an essential element in both garrison and combat environments. Ask any 0311 what encourages him to keep training or fighting in combat when he thinks he can go no further, and he will respond, “My brothers to my right and left.” No matter how masculine a woman is, she is still female and simply does not mesh with the infantry brotherhood.In the young, testosterone-filled infantry ranks, this is asking for love triangles, unit drama, and the potential for intraunit relationships. Platoon commanders in co-ed units already deal with a tremendous amount of drama, pregnancies, and sex in the co-ed unit barracksmost of the people who want to incorporate women into infantry are civilians or young, inexperienced Marines Although advantageous to individuals incorporating women into infantry units is not in the best interest of the Marine Corps or U.S. national security.
