The download file is weird though; it's an mp3 but about 5x as big and with frequencies up to 22khz which shouldn't be there if it were really an mp3 right? Edit: never mind, it's a wav file, just with an mp3 extension changed within windows I assume

UA-cam compression is _never_ conducive to sound quality and even if it may sound better to one's ears on certain low quality equipment, with a proper audio chain and speakers an MP3/lossless file with much more information and detail will always sound superior. Over time compressed audio is fatiguing to listen to. FWIW, the extension of the download is simply wrong; it's just a normal lossless WAV file which can easily be changed back to what it's supposed to be.

I suggest you to use a converter on the blanc video of the track. It’s mastered and sounds better even if its an mp3 🙃
