Circumcision New Born Jewish Boys

New born Jewish boys are circumcised as part of the ritual of becoming a Jew. In this video I relate why Jews circumcise their baby boys and how the procedure is performed. I also discuss the risk and complications of the procedure.

The growing movement that deplores circumcision is not opposed to brit milah per se, but to doing to a minor, esp. a newborn. We would have no objections if it were performed after the 18th or 21st birthdays.

"Around the 8th day after birth". Ah, your book says *on* the 8th day. And your book doesn't say anything about anesthetic. Nor, mind you, does the Torah say anything about periah metzizah (that's in the Talmud).

i came out of the womb circumcised. Crypto Jew, actual birth name is Josef Dannan. Could my jewish ancestry, matri and patriarchal be the reason for this? My Father and Son are the same. We have roots in Morocco, Spain, Moldova & Armenia.
