Hey just fyi wolffie has the brown helmet cause they changed from brown to grey in the TV show it showed an episode were his helmet was brown and he changed it later cause his battlion died out.

i bought it 3x just for the minifigs & i myself cannot say that i have the studding problem, if you buy from the better quality fake brands their droids stick to plates just fine. I even prefer them over used lego b1s because they have a lot better joint friction meaning they dont fall apart as easily & are generally nicer to use !!!
@@kmriifps same. Got one this month. Was a great experience and I just keep them on the build as a background/Reinforcement vehicle. I have hundreds of fake Battle droids and they are all good

I agree that it should be a retail set. I ended up selling off some HP sets to be able to buy enough sets on May 4th to get it. It’s a really awesome set.

As someone who has built most of their clones army off “customs” and “knockoffs” for the sole intention of StopMotion movies and not to resale them, they are PERFECT.
I enjoy collecting Lego and these “Customs” but I usually by the ones Lego will/have never made
The fake lego that is the best build wise has to be the av cannon. But minifigure has to be the kashyyyk clone trooper!

@@thisismywill Currently I build a whole alternative and fake Droid army (Alternative brands for pieces and other bricks, fakes for figs). If you know which fig brand is good, you will enjoy most of their products tbh

Ima be honest, not a lot of the fakes were great, but I did really like the Kashyyyk scout trooper, reminds me of custom lego. Great vid btw, loved the concept.
I buy knockoffs for MOCs and photos, and the ones i get are basically lego. But they never will be to me...

My favorite was definitely the Kashyyyk scout trooper! He looked amazing. My next pick would be the Boba Fett at the end. I loved seeing all of the different quality variations between the different figs. This was one of my favorite videos from you Daley!

12:00 I'm really curious if you replace some technic pins with the pins with a hole and just add a rod into it, gravity actually might place these droids perfectly when pulling them down into the "unloading position". I think that would make this set even a bigger wow, actually showing if it would be on a unstable terrian you might even see these droids dingle a bit maybe.

I think th worst thing about knockoffs are the fact a lot of the custom sets are stolen designs from moc creators.
Out of all of those the Death Trooper is by far my favorite, looks great and is extremely cheap.

I can agree that Pad Vilza is Heavy TF2.
The minifigs are all of different quality because there's a buch of different brands/producers/whatever. The best looking ones, like Cody, Rex, the death trooper and the kashyyyk trooper are all probably made by World Minifigs (WM), they make some of, if not THE best looking knock offs you'll find.

a lot of the fake figures r wack, some r good, they are all GREAT for their price & the best thing I think you can use them for is part them out & upgrade some figs with their accessories & printed arms!
That makes me want to try and build a kashyyykk army
