As a subscriber and a newbie, opening the box of the month in a video is a great idea! The purpose of me siging up for Cigar of the Month is so i can try new stuff and see what I like. Listening to you guys go over the selection is fantastic. You gave great insight and the pairing options you mentioned at the end were appreciated. I think this would be a great video every month or at the very least part of a video.
Yes cigars are a great gift. But my wife did great last year. She got me a 300 cigar humidor. Then I filled it with my favorite cigars. I love that woman

One more tip for you Ian. Smoke slow and have something sugary on hand just in case the cigar starts to get away from you. Have a sip of some soda, eat some candy, etc. and you'll bounce right back. Last thing you need on your wedding day is to get sick!
Currently at 11:20 central standard time in Nashville while I watch this video, I’m smoking a Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro a regular round. I actually have grown to love the box pressed more than any of them. Unfortunately, this one is not box pressed, but still a wonderful cigar.

You’re entitled to your opinion. A cigar that’s “mid” to you might be someone else’s favorite. Taste is personal
