@TheExplodingBit Thanks for the excellent comment- these are incredibly sexy pieces of hardware for sure. Agree that with a device like this doing work across a variety of software platforms suddenly becomes a lot more manageable. This device is a timesaver, and a remarkably powerful tool.
@voicedriven Thanks for saying so- we try to keep them in stock here at Sound Pure, and are always able to answer any questions that you might have... please feel free to send them our way.
@KeyPushaz The Artist series is a little daunting at first with how customize-able the system is, but Luke really made this video easy for us... The MC control/mix/transport really are easy to use and can add productivity to the studio
@JSprayaEntertainment Thanks for the comment, but honestly, there is something to be said about a dedicated, great looking, wonderful feeling unit that immediately works with ProTools LE, ProTools HD, Logic, all right out of the box. There are numerous other ways to control these programs, but this is one of the sexiest options we have run into.
@spacemanvector32 Luke is the foremost expert on the Avid/Euphonix Artist Series devices... we were lucky to have him... not sure his brilliance translated in this video, but it was a great aid having in here to teach us all that these amazing little things could do. That being said, we corrected the "spicey foods before video shoot" on our most recent Artist Series videos! :)
@voicedriven Fantastic that you worked on a Fairlight as you are an expert on how things should behave! No idea why others haven't quite got things right, but we are glad that Euphonix (now an Avid company) is making these. We have a number of them scattered around the building here, and we all think that they are a serious value-add to just about any production environment. Hope to help you with this next fantastic upgrade!
@gekehenky We really wanted to show how powerful the MC Artist series is with other programs other than Logic, and we think we got the point across :). Now that AVID is on board with Euphonix, I bet we see PC compatibility in the near future. Thanks again for your comments
We are having great success with ours on PC. The new PT10 seems to be even better! We are really having some serious operational efficiency gains using these in our recording studios... real happy to have them. As long as you purchased them through Sound Pure, we are always glad to help support you each step of the way! Give us a ring toll free at 1-888-528-9703
Well done video, btw. I've used the MC Control while freelancing at studios in NYC. Its the only scrub wheel that I've tried that actually is useful and enjoyable to use. As a former Fairlight operator I know how a scrub wheel SHOULD work. Why does the MC Control's wheel work so much better than, for instance the Control|24?? Anyway, its an awesome device, and I'm hoping to purchase one for my own studio in the near future.
Very late to this topic. Got one of these units used recently. Sadly, it looks like there's no "Left Edit: Nudge" command available anymore in the new firmware/software which is disappointing as nudging with the jog wheel is a pretty cool idea.
@Starkiller1036 Is there something that we could have done that you would have liked better? Trying our best to make this free content the best that we can, and if something we did pissed you off, we want to know how to fix it so that we can improve on the next round of vids
i'm almost positive, that my new set up is going to be a mac mini maxed out and i want the euphonix control with all the bells and whistles. you only spoke in general that it works with the big macs. will the mcs work with the mini?
Hi, SoundPure do you guys know if I pull up a virtual instrument and I have a MC Control and a MC Mix can I assign fader 1 to Attack, fader 2 to hold, fader 3 to decay, fader 4 to sustain, fader 5 to release and so on example of EastWest Hollywood Strings? Up to 12 faders with the combo of Mc Control and Mc Mix. Thanks for your time!
@soundpurestudios Indeed, brilliant with this products features and benefits, but perhaps having someone there of this level of understanding, would better serve the presentation as directly involved in presenting the material or off camera guiding it prior...having an expert there with astounding insight to simply say "cool and "mmhhmm" is a distraction and seems to introduce an unrequired "yes-man" element to sell it. Spicy food aside apprently causing this (?). Enjoyed the video. :)
@gclef101 Thanks for the inquiry and question... with the level of customization that these boxes offer, we think that there may be a way to do it, although we have not seen it done. Have you contacted Luke at Euphonix about this question? If not, we can contact him, and get back to you with an answer- can you shoot us an e-mail so that we can introduce you to Luke and get the conversation started about #1 is it possible, and #2 if it is, how you would do it... sales(at)soundpure(dot)com
Awesome. This device seems to be everything that Pro Tools is missing. Brings it to the next level. I need this! Thanks for the informative video.
@SteveBrownOfficial It's always our pleasure, thanks for your support of our videos and comments

That it is, and it works with so many different programs! Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, and more. Check out the link in the description for more videos!

@kk6downing I think 4 is the maximum. So the largest setup would be 1 Mc control, 1 Mc Transport and 4 Mc Mixes.
Well done video, btw.

This is a great Tool and I love that I can add to it if i want to. SOLD!
@Smubii Something tells us you are about 12 years old. Not exactly our demographic, thanks for stopping by, now you can move along.

@DocPicklez Agreed. You can grab one online at soundpure(dot)com !!! That's the place to get 'em

@organikness That's Luke, we love him too!!!
@spacemanvector32 Maybe you prefer our latest round of Avid/Euphonix videos- if you haven't seen them, be sure and check them out...
Thanks for that but can I custom the fader as well?
More and more reasons to invest in that Mac Pro.

So cool. Is it Mac only though?

$499 Ipad running touch osc ...
cant forget about the Slate PC and the Table PC coming out
sad but true. I think PC drivers continue to be under development, but at the moment, it only works on a MAC.
That's one awesome big mouse!!!!
There is no insert key in the soft key editor...
