    THANK YOU for mentioning the size, have to order these online due to lockdown and non of the other reviews gave an idea on the size difference.

    Thanks for this brief review, Chris - liked and subscribed. It helped convince me to buy a pair (arriving tomorrow!) -- you and several other UA-camrs share very positive experiences with this skate, which is a really good endorsement. Had I seen the Amazon link on this page earlier I would've clicked on it to purchase my skates -- sorry.

    I considered these skates but went with the Seba E3 instead. I do have the ice skate version of this macroblade boot called the ignite. pretty good after a dozen sessions ice skating. I'm psyched now for summer and winter.

      how you like the seba e3??

      @@fdanny1275 I really like them man. after the liner breaks in they fit really nice and perform awesome for a 160 usd skate. wear long socks though, the liner is harsh on the skin the first dozen sessions. I really like the venting all around and the round logo on the shell. I don't know if that affects rigidity of the boot but @ my skill level they're awesome. However, had I known I was going to get hooked back on blading I would have gone for FR3 $240 maybe even FR2. $290 I got the e3 $160 No regrets. now that I did the math I love them!

    What a great review Chris! Can you tell me if these are a wider width than a K2 as a have a narrow to normal foot at just under 10cm wide but size 10. Would they give enough support around arch area?

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  3 роки тому +2

      I think these Macroblade's have the widest inner space compared to all the other inline skates I have tried so far. Also, they are very padded inside.. it's one of the reasons they feel so comfortable. I think they are designed to fit the most feet possible.

    How do I remove the break???? I’m trying with mine, and it doesn’t go back on tight. The wheel is slightly loose now.

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  Рік тому +1

      Your rollerblades would have come with an extra axel piece that is the same length as the others (shorter). You will need to use this shorter axel when removing the brake

    Could you do transitions and slide stops? I just ordered the Macroblade 80 with ABT brake system. It seems like it could get in the way for crossovers. I’m worried these aren’t going to be supportive to skate even on the bike path. I’m size 10.5 and I ordered an 11

      Unfortunately I wouldn't know, I do not really do anything complicated with them other than just riding them around. I took the breaks off of mine since I like to drag my foot to slow down.

    You say don’t do high jumps etc but would these be fine for light freestyle/urban like some 4 stairs, some knee high ledge jumps??

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  24 дні тому +1

      I have been riding these for a good 3 years now. So far they are still going strong. I have been doing simple jumps here and there.

    Would they be good to practice hockey with my 7 year old in the driveway.

    Hi chris, sorry to ask here but I dont know where else to ask. I started to have a weird noise on the bottom of 1 of the my rollerblades. Its not the bearings, its the plastic bottom of the boot. But I noticed I cant disassemble the screws, there is no head or anything that lets me get them out so I cant adjust anything or check if something is broken there... Did u manage to disassemble this macroblade 80 rollerblades anytime?

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  2 роки тому +2

      Unfortunately no, I have not attempted to disassemble the boot area. I have only been changing the wheels when they get worn out.

    Can these use the abt brake system? I didn't realize I wanted that before I bought then cause I didn't know that's why I like my old pair so much. Where can I buy the entire abt system? Cause I don't see where it would hook in at the ankle on my pair.

    • @crocketgsxr6
      @crocketgsxr6 3 роки тому +1

      no you would also need a whole new ankle piece. You can get the Break system from Roller blades website and you could probably contact them about the ankle piece or you would have to fabricate something yourself.

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  24 дні тому +1

      Unfortunately I wouldn't know.. I bought these because it's easy to remove the brakes altogether. I like alternative means of stopping, such as dragging my foot from behind.

    Show us how to take off the brakes plllssa

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  3 роки тому +2

      Luckily... They include an extra regular sized axle and the hex tool, so that you can remove the brake bracket if needed.

    These would be for outdoor, right? I am just looking for a recommendation for indoor and outdoor. For this, would I just have to change the wheels to other wheels that I would only use for indoor when I went skating at a rink or something?

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  Місяць тому

      Yes, that's what I do. I have a different set of wheels for indoor.

    • @ChrisAsipyan
      @ChrisAsipyan  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes, I have taken it to a local indoor rink a few times and it's perfect. However, I use a separate set of clean wheels when indoors
