- The Hoodoo trail is one of several really cool hiking trails just a little over an hour from Albuquerque in the Ojito Wilderness. You must drive down a VERY bumpy dirt road for 7-8 miles to get to the trailhead but it is totally worth it. Don't attempt in a low clearance vehicle or after rain as there are several arroyos you must cross.

@@RobinT-treehugger New Mexico is a bucket list destination for me. My best friend did a 10 day trip in NM. I sure hope I can do a trip there within the next couple of years.
