nice selection of palms 😎, id love to get some sables! they are hard to source in the uk. that free butia is awesome for free, mines not quite that size yet haha. one thing that could help with the musa basjoo might be to remove the pine needles around them during the growing season and fertilise the hell out of it haha. its gonna look great when all the palms grow in! new sub here , looking forward to seeing how it all comes along! 👊🌴
Thank you! I Appreciate it! I'll have to check out your channel, I love seeing everyones tropical and palm related garden projects. Do sabals do well in the UK? I've never actually thought about anyone trying them there. I always see washies and butias but never sabals. The butia is amazing, It was shade grown for its entire life, so much of the palm is stretched and it's gonna be nice for it to get compact now. I really enjoy looking at it every time I'm outside, and I'm excited for the new growth this coming spring and summer. It's finally gonna look decent-finally, haha. As for the musa basjoo, It has always had this weird disease issue since I've had it, even long before the pine straw which is a new addition to the bed, and I can't really diagnose the issue since I have fertilized it, given it water, and all the leaves, old and new, get the same black spotting unfortunately. I’m looking forward to checking out your videos and seeing your updates too! 🌴
