  • Here is a demo of my smaller board that I recently put together. Stay tuned for more demos. I'm "re-building" the bigger board.
    If you count how many times I said um, uh. I'll ship you the whole pedalboard!
    Are you in to video games too? I've been spending too much time playing Xbox One lately.

    You and I have a very different idea of what the word "small" means

    Sick board, but if this is small, I'm the Queen of France.

    Very impressive. Smart choice of high quality pedals, all in a small package, plus a pedal switcher !!!

    Really awesome pedalboard! Every pedal you have is crazy good. I've always been interested in the Strymon Blue Sky. After watching your videos I'm gonna get one.

    Thats a really great board. I cant believe you fit it all on a PT1. I have a PT2 w a Croc Tail size switcher and I can only fit 7 or 8 pedals on mine. Thanks for sharing, sounds as good as it looks. Ill have to come back and count the uhhms. ;)

    That is really nicely done and very classy . I feel ashamed of my 'board' just looking at it. have around 10 cheapish and mostly quite battered analogue stomp boxes with favourite positions marked in electrical tape and pen and the wiring and patch cables stuck down with gaffer tape . It does the job though .I can't imagine what the big board is like. I shall check it out right now.

    You should do a video without music so it doesn't compete with what you are discussing about your pedalboard. I love the pedalboard.

    Thanks for the demo on this promising piece of gear! That Empress sounds great! I need to control 3 midi-equipped pedals at a time. Does it send on more than one channel?

    Chuchu, another question as you seem to be the authority on this loop switcher and I can't get much from One Control directly! Is there a way to switch between "direct mode" and "program mode" like the original version? I don't see a switch on this version, which allows you to either use the switches to activate the individual loops OR the presets that you've created for each bank. Hope that makes sense and THANKS!

    • @Chuchuguitar
      @Chuchuguitar  9 років тому +1

      It should do it by holding the "Bank/Direct" switch. It should work. Let me know.

    Hello, I am new to the Pedal World and was wondering if the following chain makes sense? I realize that there isn't a "set" or "correct" method, but I would like to make sure that I am not destroying my signal or tonal integrity. My chain is as follows: Guitar --> tuner --> whammy --> wah --> noise gate input --> noise gate send --> compressor --> heavy metal --> tube screamer --> boost --> EQ --> flanger --> noise gate return --> noise gate output --> amp. Thank you so much for the help.

    Hi Chuchu. Nice board by the way. Can I ask what power supply you are using here and what make is the patch bay on the right?

    Awesome board! I've been looking at the Chamaeleo and it looks great, but I can't figure out how you are using the 5th loop to switch the amp's channel AND still have the delay and reverb run in the effects loop of the amp. Does that mean that those pedals aren't running through the loop switcher and you have to turn those off and on without using the loop switcher? Hope that makes sense what I'm asking! ;-)

    • @Chuchuguitar
      @Chuchuguitar  10 років тому

      Hello,
      That is exactly what I am doing. Only 4 pedals are being controlled by the Chamaeleo and the 5th loop is switching the amp channels. Let me know if you have more questions.
      Thanks!

    Hey man great demo, much like a similar comment above I'm very interested in purchasing the chamaeleo! I'm assuming you don't have to go straight to the amp from the unit... So I could go from guitar to my fuzzes as usual then have the chamaeleo control all my modulation effects and the go out of the chamaeleo to my verbs? My old amp doesn't have an effects loop
    Cheers in advance!
    Dean

    Love the sound of this setup man, bravo. Just a quick question, how could I replicate the sound at 16:00 on a budget pedalboard

    • @Chuchuguitar
      @Chuchuguitar  9 років тому

      hey thanks! with an analog type of delay and reverb. The repeats of the delay need to be dark. If you're trying to buy something that gets you in the same territory I would recommend a Line 6 M9 or M13.

    • @parkerlewiscl
      @parkerlewiscl 9 років тому

      What do you think about the strymon big sky reverberatory? Maybe getting close. Just built my first pedalboard and I really like that sound on your vid. Its really close to Eric Johnsons sound.

    • @Chuchuguitar
      @Chuchuguitar  9 років тому

      Do you have delay already? I would recommend the Bigsky only if you need all the presets. Otherwise I would say the BlueSky... I have both and for some reason I feel like the the BlueSky sounds bigger than the actual BigSky.. crazy.. lol

    • @parkerlewiscl
      @parkerlewiscl 9 років тому

      Yeah, I haven't purchased a delay yet. Been trying to narrow down my choices haha. But I really do appreciate your feedback cause I think I know what I want now. Well sort of... Leaning towards the big sky for now. But probably end up with both.

    • @parkerlewiscl
      @parkerlewiscl 9 років тому

      Oh yeah, what about a delay. Cause I need that haha

    Board looks great pal, but I think you're out of phase for the recording. Maybe flip the phase and reload the audio?

    • @Chuchuguitar
      @Chuchuguitar  10 років тому

      Hey Ross Beaton, You're totally right! It's happening to me when recording in stereo with two amps. I just inverted the phase and sounds a lot better. This problem happened to me on my last video as well.. :( I'll have to reload them.. ugh..
      Thanks again!
