- The video was shot in Bonn, Germany during the shutdown because of the Corona-crisis in Europe. I took the chance to see an empty city with nearly no people on the streets. Mostly filmed with my tiny DJI Mavic Air. I hope you enjoy the video!

This is spooky. I live in Bonn, experienced the lock down, and because we were all at home was never able to see this. Bonn is a very vibrant and lively city. To see it as a ghost town has a certain post-apocalyptic, end-of days vibe to it. There's this video game called "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" and this seems to capture its essence.
Als Bönnsche Jung geht mir bei dem Film das Herz auf. Wie schön meine Heimatstadt ist und wie beängstigend leer sie ist während der Pandemie.
Diese Stadt ist der reinste Albtraum: Dreckig, Junkies, Baustellen..... Einspurigkeit, -da Fahrradfahrer eine LKWspur benötigen, deswegen befinden sich die SteuerZAHLENDEN Autos ständig im Stau, aber alles schreit "scheinheilig" nach Klima, finde den Fehler!

Doch , wo die Pandemie anfing war genau so leer . In manchen Städten sind sogar wildtiere spazieren gegangen 🤭

I lived in Bonn for almost 2 years and watching this video took me back there for a couple minutes. I can't imagine how was Bonn during the lockdown, but i felt sad seeing the streets completly empty. De city center is so live with people walking around, eating something, going back to theirs houses, drinking some beer or shopping, and watch the city completly quiet was a wired moment... I really missed Bonn watching this video.

this town is my birthplace, even though I'm not German, and i got no memories of Bonn or whatsoever. its been 23 years. Hopefully, one day i can visit.
I was born there too in 1983, and I'm not German either, but and I lived there until I was seven (minus the 2 years I lived in the states when I was around 2 and 3. Then we moved back). Growing up there with so much fun. I really miss riding my bike all over.

-because of with you only. Bonn city is very beautiful while looking empty roads-No single person not not visible on the roads.it is possible only with corona -otherwise we can't see entire our life Long

@Alex Krabes Great footage! I am also studying in bonn and interested in drone photography. Did you take any sort of permission to fly the drone? I have mavic mini and I am not sure if I can fly the drone freely around the city.
Hey! Thank you! 😊 First of all, you have to obey German Drone Law, for example keeping 100m to any Highway or Bundesstraße (B9). I haven't had any exclusive permission and I think it's not needed, since you're flying with a small Drone for recreational purposes. If you want to be 100% safe, reach out for the official community administration, but it might be possible they say "no", just because they are not sure, about the law...

Um die Frage zu beantworten, am besten beim Luftfahrtbundesamt sich mit den Regelungen zum Führen von UAVs befassen und auf jeden Fall den Kenntnisnachweis zum Führen ablegen - der ist zwingend notwendig
