- We've been working on and off at this cottage for the past few months for an uncle of mine. 200+ years old, breathing new life into this building.
It's a pleasure to do so.

@@theoodonovan1118 yes indeed, I've had about 3 million lowered corsa's with 5" exhaust pipes going past from Thursday evening...outskirts of Omagh heading towards Donegal.
There'll be some black mark's and vape stickers this weekend.

That camera on your head videoing made me nauseous because it was whipping all around. Please get a tripod. The place is beautiful but that video was tough to watch!

Thank you Zita, It's great to hear this feedback...I will hopefully improve with the camera going forward...I've bought a few other gopro attachments that I will be trying in the future...if I do have the head cam on, I may be more conscious of my head movement.

Sorry for you I have to say this,but all the work you have done on this lovely cottage is just for nothing.
Because you used cement on natural stones its gonna be very moisture in the house. Soon you will see the black spots of fungi on the walls.
I saw the fire and it helps but that's not the solution.
You mentioned to build new walls. If you are using natural stones lime or mortar is the best.
Are you using bricks then you can use cement.Its a very common mistake builders make up by old houses,so again,I am sorry for this lovely cottage.
😮 oh I didn't know that...I wasn't involved with the building of the stone work...it was done by a stone Mason.
I'll run it past my uncle when I'm back at it.
