Thank you for the reply. Hearing a trucker’s own opinion on their job really helps to put its requirements into perspective (American Truck Simulator only gets you so far).

Video games do give a general idea, but they have the benefit of having no real consequences if things go horribly bad, or let you know what a powerful wind gust feels like when it slams you from the side. Still fun to play, though!

Truck driving is both hard and a great experience, I think you are in a great position being a UA-camr and also a truck driver because you can document do much stuff and share it on your own platform
