I moved to Australia when I was 22 on my own and it was the BEST decision I ever made. I think, the best way to look, although it is a long way, if you NEEDED to, you could get home within 36-48 hours. So worth it, or you will always wonder what if!
you just give off such positive and wholesome vibes so your goal of spreading that is already achieved! you just feel like the kind of girl that every girl needs as a friend 🥰 i’m 26 and poor mental health has consumed my early 20’s and left me with so much sadness over not being able to do the things i wanted to. so above all, just prioritise having fun and doing things you enjoy! life is so short and tomorrow is never guaranteed, if we’re lucky enough to reach 80 and look back on our lives, think about what memories and decisions that version of yourself would like to have. i can’t wait to follow your journey, wherever that may take you ♥️
loved this!! a few of my 'ins' for 2024 are: take running more seriously, push myself out of my comfort zone (so much so my boyfriend and i have booked to travel aus with MAP at the end of this year!!), spend more time with friends and family and to stop comparing myself to others!! sending you all love and positivity for 2024 🤍

100% go to Australia, it’s the best decision I ever made in life! It doesn’t need to be a forever thing.. just go over, have lots of fun and see where life takes you. England is only a flight away and you can come back whenever you want, if things don’t pan out the way you want. Have no regrets and give it a go x

Gal you’re so young! You are literally me 6 years ago, I finished my costume degree and fell out of love with my career prospects in costume but knew I wanted to travel! I spent 6 months travelling south east Asia and Australia and then lived in Australia for a year. It’s really helped me see how big the world was! I then moved back home, spent 2 years getting my career in costume for tv and film going and now I’ve moved to NZ for 6 months with my boyfriend as I’ve definitely still got the travel bug! (I’d definitely visit NZ if I were you, I thought Australia was the best place in the world until I saw NZ…😍😍)!! Keep travelling, that bug will never go unless you do it now, you have plenty of time for your career in the future! X
I did 6 months in Asia last year and next week I am flying back out to turn it into a lifestyle! Its the best experience ever and being surrounded by so many others and making new friends who also love travel and are so similar is my all time favourite part! I feel so isolated and lonely at home in comparison!
Having moved to New Zealand from the UK at the age of 7 with my family and back to the UK again when I was 12 myself and my parents can’t even recommend enough moving to and exploring another country. The other side of the world, away from all our family and we’d do it all over again if we could, it’s so worth it, it never has to be permanent but for the experience it’s a must

I feel exactly the same! But do it!! I have just lived in Sydney for 6 months (moved with my company in London) and have just returned to the UK. I am itching to go back to Australia so badly! Loved it there & totally agree that it was so great to meet new people & make great connections! Loved the lifestyle there too! Plan in my head is to move there for 18 months! My thoughts are in 23, so I have my whole life ahead of me to settle down in UK. You can always come back but you might as well try, a year will fly by and I’m sure you’ll have the best time! So glad you loved our Country! I feel very lucky to be Australian with all of the beautiful places we have on our doorstep! We might be far away from the rest of the world but you dont need to travel far when your here to experience completely different scenery x
I'm turning 25 this year and something I REALLY struggled with last year was loneliness. I have never felt so lonely in my life. I have a really great relationship with my family and I have 2 best friends but I found that when family and those two friends were busy, I did so many things by myself. I enjoy my own company but it got to the point where I was feeling so depressed and isolated. I've made it a goal in 2024 to make new friends because I refuse to be as lonely as I felt in 2023. Trying to make new friends in your mid 20s is so hard omg

Do it! You’re both young. The worst case scenario is that Australia doesn’t work out and you go back home. Do it before you have kids, huge debts, and major responsibilities.
I did it 2017-2019 it was best 2 years of my life, I had to do the farm work but as of July 2024 you can get 3 year working holiday visas without the farm work. Highly recommend doing it.
I spent a year in Australia! Honestly a year is NOTHING, it flies by. Take the risk, you’ll regret not going and can always get a flight home if you don’t like it

Hey, I’ve recently moved out to Perth WA from the UK to be with my partner who lives out here. I always wanted to come out to aus as my job is within healthcare and it’s something I wanted to experience out here, but with my partner living out here I just bit the bullet and moved entirely, on a working visa but to be applying for the permanent visa in October 24. I just wanted to say, do it. I was going back and forth between yes and no, but in the end I just did it and I can honestly say it has been the best decision I have ever made so far. Yeah it’s a long flight but you can usually get home within 24 hours if you need to, but I’m similar age to you and I just think, why not. I find personally, my anxiety with the world and the conflicts happening that I’m so much more at ease over here and as long as you’re with your partner I really do think anything is possible! No regrets and I do wish you all the best ❤

My advice is to travel u and Ged seem to want that. I’m cabin crew the amount of young crew that go off and do that over Xmas and say it’s the best experience of their lives. You’ll always have your uni grades experience take 2yrs live both you life’s
