Everyone watch the UK dub, Saiorse Ronan and Tom Holland play Arrietty and Sho and their voices are much more age appropriate! These actors sound like adults playing tweens.
I cant stop watching this scene its so mesmerizing,i liked it though when Tom holland was the voice actor of shawn/shō cuz it sounded more better and felt sincere, but this one is fine but i dont know why when i hear the instruments playing the music in these scene i suddenly feel pain in my heart, the moment feels beautiful, sad, melancholic, desperate, love etc its like a mixed wheel of emotions both sad and happy but i feel a stronger ache within me.
It's because it's so bittersweet. The feelings the characters have just feel so real and genuine, it feels full of innocence and there's this feeling of longing to it and then the music kicks in and it's like the world has waited for this moment. It's how I've always felt during the 'You're beautiful' scene in Princess Mononoke, even as a child it felt like such a profound moment that I just couldn't explain.
In the disney version for this japanese anime “The secret world of Arriety” there was an after part where shawn went back home and claimed he never saw Arriety again, like even Disney can't make a happy ending for them, but he survived his operation maybe becuz of Arrieties lucky pin and went back to grandmas home in a year and heard the neighbours sugar and little food supplies were missing and was very happy to hear it.THE END😢
The music that starts along with the sound of wind in the grass is so beautiful
He's ancestor of ashitaka😂
