I had a lot of fun recording this video so expect more Rolling Line content soon and in the future! All the community mods are really cool and I'm gonna try different types of RL videos too. Maybe music videos, RL videos with random "funny" edits, or just more content showcases like this. Also if your mod was in this video or you contributed to one of the layouts, feel free to say what it was! All of them are really well done!
As one of the contributors to the Koolaid layout, its so great to see it featured by larger content creators who have a care for these smaller game communities. Thank you for the video! My OC got cut out from the bench he was sitting on, but that's fine haha.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and nice work with the Kool-Aid layout! Also dammit sorry about your OC being out of frame. When I was recording for the Kool-Aid layout, I was just filming whatever trains were already running on the route (did the same for most of the MILW Beer Line scenes) trying to quickly frame all of them except for the last few scenes like the VIA F40 with boxcars, Kool-Aid guy near the wall with the writing on it, and the shuffler train underground. It was a little laggy to record on that set and where I put the camera on the station was the only spot that I wasn't getting big FPS drops. Nothing against your OC at all, I promise that! Sorry again! Next time I use the layout in a video, I'll be sure to include your OC in a scene.
Heyo AmtrakGuy! Love the video man, Consider me as one of many to look forward to more of these Rolling Line Videos! I also got to thank you for using my liveries I made, truly it makes my day!
Glad you enjoyed it! I really like your mods, awesome stuff! Bonus points for the big Michigan focus with most of them too lol. Keep up the great work!
It’s nice to see the Milwaukee Road beer line! The railroad crossing lights and cross bucks used in that layout were actually created by me and it’s really nice to see the community utilizing things I have worked hard on! I had a mod pack prepared of different types of crossing lights such as Safetran and Wrrs but due to a hard drive failure I cannot access them at this point. I’m planning on taking the hard drive with all my game data to a store to be extracted and put on a new drive. I can’t wait to get back to making more rolling line content!
Big thanks for using my gp38-2 and Michigan layout, the layout really doesn’t deserve to be in this video though it’s almost a year old at this point and needs some serious updates. But I was still really excited to see it nonetheless.
their is a cinematic mode in the settings (somewhere) to make the camera move smoother. a nice feature i discovered while playing one day. i loved the video!
In all honesty, it comes down to your tastes. There are so many great rolling stock and routes that you could probably never find all the ones that are for you. For rolling stock find cars/locomotives that you like, Kanan Matsuura but a Railroader makes some great engines for your freights. As for Routes, some great ones are the Lee Marsh Great Northern, Bluerock Northern Railroad, Romantisches Rheintal, BC&TM Narrow Gauge Railroad along with the routes in this video I can recommend.
Love seeing this knowing i helped make the H10-44 for the beer line :) fun fact your video about Half life 2 inspired me to learn blender and make the H10 locomotive. Love ur channel bro.
I don't have Rolling Line, but it seems to have really come a long way. The dev team is dedicated and then there's so much offered on the Steam Workshop.
Neither were we. It started as an April Fools joke by Micro, and then started to expand. Then we suddenly had a whole team of people working on it, practically overnight.
I recorded the horn and whistle sounds from a distance to avoid the engine noise, then dubbed/edited in the SFX in my editing software Sony Vegas. I then pitched the sounds up and down and sped them up or slowed them down to do the little horn/whistle blasts.
@@AmtrakGuy365 oh I thought you had like modified the game or something, that is really smart. Also keep up the rolling line content, love your videos!

If you ever want the original recording of that horn, I was the one who recorded it. Same goes for the AC4400cw as well.

It's really awesome to see some of my Conrail rolling stock and my Koolaid GP35s showcased like this, great work on the video, I'd love to see more :)
No.25 was usually at the McCloud railway but I’m glad u added it to the rust belt world as the w.c.r.r variant.

Oh my god...YES.
This is DEFINITELY on my Steam wishlist as of now!
One of them has the (formerly) 11'8" bridge? That's a keeper.
Oh neat, it’s my U3-B at 6:13. Cool to see someone using it! Thanks man!
7:22 11 ft 8 in never gets old😆
3:37 LOL that is awesome and hilarious at the same time. Never before have I seen a kool aid railroad. Such nostalgia!
7:55 Those 4 container cars are liveries made by me! Thanks for showing them!
Seeing the Kool Aid Line out in the wild honestly scares me. Great video none the less.
Very nice to see some of my liveries/rolling stock used here! I’ll be looking forward to some more videos, really a great game.

As a Michigander, I am just glad it exists. Your modding skills are great.
I hope you see this, how did you control the horn sequence at 1:30
I have been playing rolling line for years I love that you are making more of these videos
My people are here, finally :)
LMAO I love how at 6:52 there is a depiction of the good old 11'8" + 8 bridge hahaha
7:51 That DDLC boxcar hit me hard lol
As soon as I saw that h-12-44, I knew I had to like the video

Hey Amtrak guy is someone who just got into rolling line what maps / rolling stock would you recommend
In all honesty, it comes down to your tastes. There are so many great rolling stock and routes that you could probably never find all the ones that are for you. If you want shunting layouts or nice dioramas to look at, check out turnerdeedo's workshop items.

It was nice to see my close friend Pain Train's Monon map in the video. He doesn't get a lot of the credit he deserves IMO.
Nice one man! Rolling line seems like the future of Trainz!
These are all really nice layouts. Keep it up.
Wasn't even aware of this game - placed on Steam Wishlist, thanks for the cool vid
I don't have Rolling Line, but it seems to have really come a long way. The dev team is dedicated and then there's so much offered on the Steam Workshop.
Finally, a railfan who uses rolling line besides me
I hope at some time they will add the ability to have custom railroad crossing sounds.
Is the Rust Belt World scene some sort of homage to the 11'8" (now 11'8+8") bridge located in NC?
Its a map based off of Cleaveland, OH but i do think the bridge is a reference to the bridge.
Do these maps still work without there prerequisites from Rollinglinemodding? I can't seem to access the site to download them.
This was really nice! Hope to see more of these
The 1 dislike is the driver from rust belt world
btw how to horn without a limted horn
yay! more Rolling Line stuff! :) 👍🏻
im glad that rolling line is more populer now😃
Wow! Very nice!
How do you get the holding horns?
8:26, since when did McCloud 25 go to the Midwest?
Does that truck seems from Duel 1971 to you? 0:55
I wonder If a GG1 will be added with PRR line. I haven't found any mods for those yet so its my assumption.
I hope they make a GG1/2
I might get this over trainz (trainz crashes a lot for me)
Honestly, KARR (Kool Aid Railroad) is the best, and the most money-making industry

How did you know I wanted to play and watch rolling lines.
how do i get the holding horns? because i have absolutely no idea how.
So are these sounds in-game, or added in during editing?
From what I'm aware, these are ingame
How do you honk the horn when you are not in the cab

how did you hide the cursor
Nice!
Is anyone going to ask how he made the horns like short and long or am I going to have to ask?
I recorded the horn and whistle sounds from a distance to avoid the engine noise, then dubbed/edited in the SFX in my editing software Sony Vegas. I then pitched the sounds up and down and sped them up or slowed them down to do the little horn/whistle blasts.
