You seem to have a definite green thumb with hoyas, do you have any hoya curtisii in your collection and if so do you have any care advice? I bought a small starter plant and within a week of its arrival half the plant died back... bought another one and same issue, only Hoya I've ever bought that has done this, any advice would be appreciated!
I have Curtisii but I got it from a big box store. I just ignore it completely until I feel really guilty about how long it’s been since I have watered it. 😂 (this is in the original soil it came in) But if you are using a chunky mix, you’d want to water more regularly.
I don’t do anything with them. That’s just want hoyas do in high humidity. If you wanted to take cuttings, the sections that have aerial roots have a head start. 😊
I think both are equally effective! I would suggest rooting in the pot/medium that you want to grow the plant in long term. No need to root, then repot. Sorry this reply is probably irrelevant to you by this time.

Do you ever use a heating mat under these bins?

Hello why do u have the pot in side the plastic cup🤔
To catch the water that comes out of the bottom. I ran out of small saucers :)
What size are the plastic cups that you use ? In oz?
I’m not sure. The pot are 3” and I took one to the store to compare to the cup options 😆
Can you explain if you do anything special with all those aerial roots. Will each one begin to grow a vine ?ty
Will love to know also

Do you do anything special to transition your plants out of the prop box and into your home collection?
I just make sure they look really happy and pull them out. No transitioning.
Can you use any type of fertilizer for your hoyas in leca? Or do you need to use a specialized nutrient water?
You should find a fertilizer meant for hydroponics since they contain the micronutrients usually found in soil.
I use General Hydroponics
How do you prepare your Leca ? I mean from washing to storing your leca 💕
I thought you used leca to propagate? Are you just using soil for these because they are for other people? Just curious
Hi (: how do you decide whether to proropgate a plant in soil or leca?
