I'm presently writing a childen's book entitled "The Caterpillar That Wouldn't Spin" based on an old Japanese story of the "Dragonfly People".
As I'm sure you know, dragonfly larvae are aquatic and spend their entire existence in ponds, often for several years, before they climb up the stalk of a reed and emerge into a completely different world. When they molt they become the magificent adult flying reproductive form we have come to call dragons.
In the story, the great mystery of the Dragon People is their collective wondering of what happens when individual nymphs ascend never to return, so a nymph is chosen to arise up the stalk with specific instructions to return and share the secret with the dragon tribe, but of course finds the tranformation so complete that it can only hope to hover over the surface and see it's reflection, unable to return to it's collective watery existence to honor the promise made....
Seems once those imaginal cells flatten into imaginal disks within the nymph, each disk containing a segment of the future form, there is no going back...
So... I would say, YES is the answer to your question.
We are each carriers of the cosmic imagination, and our metamorphosis is both inherent and inevitable as well.
The question remains...do dragonflies have dreams?

Yes, this really resonates! From the perspective that We Are An Expression of Consciousness That Enables It To Know Itself Experientially and Thus Expand Itself Continuously Eternally, the idea that We Are The "Imaginal Cells" through which this happens totally makes sense. And upon hearing this, something in my body of referencing awakened further. I'm also curious if, now that I have this idea to play with as I go about my activities... if I will be able to sense the "me" that was in its larvae stage(s) at other "times and places in the Cosmos" and what "else" I carry in deep memory? Fun! Thank you!

I recently heard a podcast about the research on the interstitium. I identified my personality traits to that type of purpose, but also more particularly to an organelle of a cell within that system.
Further, I feel/think that the continuing “reveals” in science and spirit are the matrices of space inside a cell.
Imaginal cells are a beautiful way to bridge the gap between this (me) and I AM.

That's a very good question. I think that it would be slightly egotistical for us to say that we are the source of imagination or are the imagination of the universe. It seems to me that perhaps, we are the physical form of imaginative creativity from the universe perhaps, in essence, our souls are energetically the imagination you speak of but our lives on Earth are merely a representation of that

When we begin to observe what the body is, what consciousness is, that everything is mind, I'm a packet of information, under constant transformation, it seems to me that we are speaking the same language as imaginal cells, which are " cells eager for changes, whose minds activate the imagination to materialize, a new reality, we have similar situations here, the metamorphosis af the butterfly, serve as inspiration for the great processes of change that we can go through in our lives collectively or individually. 😊 🦋❌️☮️
I listened to the last 2 minutes about 10 times. In just the last 2 minutes there is given the prima fascia story and the words used to tell the story themselves symbolize an even more amazing story!
Our language is the greatest evidence of God as the omnipresent overseeing intelligence of the Universe. I remember looking up the etymology of cyto thinking it would say vibration which would imo be correct as well but it gave it's derivative as meaning cell which visa vie vibration would relate to thread, sutra, string and even imo electron orbitals and similarly every boundary condition or firmament/heaven in the Universe such as phospholipids and everything related in meaning to lipids as that which gives form to the word As what appears in the Universe or plasm or womb.
The rock group Live has a song "I alone" which has the lyrics "the baby cradled in space". The baby is the cyto in the plasm as the fruit of the womb of Mary as Jesus. 🙏
Everything we see is a firmament as a boundary condition that separates the waters from the waters where the waters represents any homogeneous state between boundaries. The variations within a homogeneous state is what allows for symbolism which is what is meant by the "word". The word is the variations within a homogeneous state symbolized as energy in E equals MC2 when viewed as separate cells defined only by their relationship with one another which I believe speaks to the true nature of karma as the true nature of cause and effect. Not to beat a dead horse but I don't see any evidence that everyone is on a separate journey though it may well be there are infinitely forming Universes each Universe would necessarily evolve as a whole with each part being a reflection of the rest of each Universe. We see plainly as mentioned in the video that how a being evolves is dependent on it's environment, period. This seems so obvious to me I can't believe how much debate their is about it except it shows to what great lengths we will instinctively resort in order to hide our shadow as may be a paraphrase of Jung?. It's what the movie "Everything everywhere all at once" points to in pointing out how we want to deny our creation by pushing it into a bagel hole without addressing our continuation of the attitude which will inevitably recreate from it's seed. 🙏

❤ AGREE. Here's another freaky incident...yest while I was outside, this thought popped into my head. I say this because I've been physically ill, with some major issues, and metamorphosis (even that term) crossed my mind yest. I feel it because this body is and has definitely been changing in every way and oh yea, it absolutely makes me question all that. I definitely don't have your brilliant mind, Deepak, so my explanations are not as well,..you know, brilliant and etc lol BUT I get it.

I’m not sure we should think that we are that important as to think we are imaginal cells. It’s more likely that we are the reality show entertainment, or the comic relief. I think we are creatively evolving ourselves, & may become as useful as imaginal cells, someday, if we don’t F up too badly in the process.

yes, from the thought ocean of the pre-eminent force (the trinity, creator-almighty-God) formed from this ocean of thoughts the unification of the cosmic brain force that gave shape to thoughts and images as the artificial Gürzen... the natural Gürzen were created in the 2nd universe called EVA-ADAM dimension, which is the sum total of the Atomic whole Being.

Nothingness or non physical is trying to find the optimal somethingness or physical form that is sustainable and balanced. Our purpose is to find physical form that is sustainable and balanced.
On indivividual level we are searching for it psychologically, in relationships...
In communities, in national level, even globally, all physical life formations are existing individually and/or collectivly for that same purpose.
