typically the smallest installation we do would consist of around 10 robots. That would cost appx 800k, including installation, software, shelving and totes.
Great question! The robot already has to lift the totes up&down to be able to retrieve them. By using this mechanism to also do the picking, we avoid adding an extra vertical motor to the picker which reduces costs and maintenance. The tote lift also uses regenerative braking, so the incremental energy loss of lifting both totes vs the picker is minimal.
Love watching these Brightpick AI Robots.
great solution! I'm wondering about the approximate productivity when doing replenishment, and how many hours the robot takes to charge daily?
1 hour of charge time equates to 5 hours of work for the robots. In terms of replenishment, each robot can put away around 30-40 totes per hour.
what is the price for 5 robot

Why lift and lower both boxes instead of just using the picker?

@@brightpickAI thank you, very clever.
