Yeah I kind of have social anxiety also. I'm in middle school and I never raise my hands. When I'm with my friends I'm really loud and outgoing and funny. Even in malls with my friends I can joke around and go up to a stranger and say something funny. But in school it's a huge problem. I feel like I'm not myself when I'm quiet so I try to be outgoing. My friend even tried to help me once but I can never talk. One of the teachers I have is really funny and loud. Everyone in his class is loud and it's like your weird if you aren't loud. I can never talk or raise my hand and I tried to once and its just so stressful. I feel like I would have a lot less stress if I was outgoing. But like you just have to find things that make you happy. :) (btw i LOVE your profile pic! Clem is awesome and I can't wait for the next season to come out. I know how you feel, I am super shy around everyone unless they know me, and it didn't help a year or to ago my sister spreading the rumor around that I was a spawn of satan, but after a little while my teacher put me in a group with this girl and her friends, we finished the project fast and then we just talked, that day at lunch she invited me to sit with her since I had always sat alone. Now me and her are best friends. The only sad part is is that we're both in eighth grade and going to different high schools next year, hopefully I'll find some one new I just have to try to keep my head up I guess. But I'll bet that your new friend will be good to you, and who knows maybe youll find a ton more friends, things some how work out, usually...but you can only hope for the best! I wish you the best of luck in life.
