So I'm a noobish player (been playing for years but can only play on hard) But like, it's always confused me. What's the difference between rockband and guitar hero mechanically? They seem the same really. Just a difference in aesthetic? Anyone want to elaborate?
@@blackghostcatThis is a generalisation because all RB and GH games play differently from each other. Rock Band's engine completely prevents both spamming and ghosting. You have to play cleanly/accurately in order to hit anything. Couple that with the fact that the hit window itself is much smaller and in some of the games there's a strum limit similar to GH2. Guitar Hero's engine is fairly similar to Clone Hero, especially GH3. What also makes the console games harder is that they're capped to 60FPS which means that the game only asks your guitar for inputs 60 times a second. With Clone Hero, you can run the game at thousands of frames per second which gives you many more chances to hit a note.
