I suggest u all guys to install a good after market crash guard on 1st day as the stock crash guard is of no use for your & your bike safety. Triumph charged me 450/- for installation. Leg stretch on sliders is just for some seconds guys don’t make it a regular thing😉. I hope u like this vlog 👍🫡
i had a minor fall they charged me 16k for the entire. Service they said they replaces handle bar they changes the ball bearings and is it too much for it?
They had to change front brake liver rear liver handle bar bolts , ball bearings brake pads etc.. but i feel 16k is bit too much for a minor fall. Whats your opinion on the same?
Yesterday had my first fall from default scrambler!!! Entire impact taken by handle and my leg took the impacts.. since the speed was barely 10 the impact on leg was more of bike rather than the hit from ground!!! Looking for a guard to save leg getting stuck or taking entire weight of the bike!!!
Even i wanted to add after market crash guard and the triyumph one for engine, but do you think only zana crash guard is enough for this? And if i buy zana crash guard and tell the triyumph service guys to fit it, will they do it? without any vibrations. Does the vehicle weight increase after adding the crash guard? Waiting for your answers bro 🙌🏻
See bro Zana covers most of the area pf below and above and u have aluminium bash plate below in 400x but yes if u feel u need more safety then u can install the lower engine guard later on but yes both provide max safe guard. Lil bit of mix use of spacers (zana & stock) and tiny extra effort will be needed for installing both. Not noticed any increase in vibes and weight is not light I don’t know the actual numbers bro👍
Mere Triumph pe moto torque ki crash guard lagvaya hey. Tora vibration bada tha hey after market crash guard lekin peace of mind ke samne kuch bhi nahi.
Nice Video Parvesh bhai, been following you and it really helps, I have the same old stock setup as yours, However want to get the same Zana one on my bike, So no additional spacers required correct? i can get it fixed in a non triumph service station with the stock spacers & the spacers that come with Zana crash guard?
Thanks alot bro for ur support 👍, combination of zana stock spacers and stock crash guard spacers will work u can show screenshot of my video to mechanic for reference👍….Triumph charged me 450 for fitting.
@@Kaushik_Pravesh Awesome brother thank you, one more concern, I see that you have Maddog Alpha installed on your Bike, I also got the same but not installed yet, Just curious to do it on m own DIY project, can you help with the wiring for the same, I see that you got it done from the shop, can you tell how the relay connection is drawing power? is is though fuse box or ODB2 port or we have any hidden Connector for accessories, Basically i want to do it in the supported way so i don't void any warranty. Your suggestion will help.
I suggest u to get the wiring part done from experts so that ur warrantydon’t get void and any small short circuit may also happen which will be a problem on long rides. I really don’t know the wiring part, u can watch other video on maddog wiring bro👍

Kaushik Bhai, many discussions are going on these days about the impact of the aftermarket crash guards on the structural integrity of the bike's main frame since the Himalayas' frame broke due to the installation of the aftermarket crash guards. What do you think about it?
Kunal bro my take on is that :- 1. Chassis brake or bend issues not heard in Triumph 400s till date. 2. I choose myself over bike for safety, bike to new ajayegi but our life is much more precious👍🫡
Kya ho gaya bhaiya ji jo Indore service centre jana pad gaya? Aur aap jo new sahara ka seat change kiye hai stock seat cover remove karne ke bad seat hight kuch kam hua hai ya fir badh gaya hai. Aur comfort kaisa hai. Thank you for making such beautiful & informatics videos.

Hi Bhai I am planning to purchase this bike for accessories I am bit confused what I need to install from showroom .I am thinking to install only tankpad and high mudguard only rest I will install from outside please share your opinion
Maine aaj book karwa dia hai Scram400 apki videos dkhke.... But I am only concerned about the heating ! Kya apko traffic me city me heating face hoti hai legs pe ?
See bro in extreme hot weather all bikes heat, radiators throw engine heat outside which can be feel on legs in traffic jams not in stop and go traffic, its a normal thing in any bike which is having radiator, nothing extraordinary or heating issue is there in this bike.
Can you make a short on how your mounting shield tail bag without tail rack. I brought it from your recommendation and also own a scrambler. I bought shield bag because currently I want to mount on rear seat later will get a tail rack. I’ve also dm’d on Instagram if UA-cam short is not possible
im always scared to install aftermarket crashgaurds. i have heard from many people that the crash guards are causing the chassis of many bikes to Literally snap after impact. havent heard anything for scram 400 yet.
Bike can be repaired or replaced bro but we need to be safe from first impact on crash where this crash guard will help alot, yeah i also haven’t heard about any chassis bend or break for 400x till date👍
Crash-guards are supposed to protect the engine, not the rider, . That’s what riding gear is for. It’s just that in India people used to call these leg guards so riders still think they should protect your leg, which they are not supposed to. Big crash guard increase the risk in an accident because the rider’s leg/body can get stuck between the crash guard and the bike. The rider, in the best case scenario, should get separated from the bike ASAP in a crash so they don’t get dragged a long distance along with the 200 kgs of metal, which has a lot more momentum than a 70-80 kg human.
@@Kaushik_Pravesh lets hope scram 400 doesnt have this problem. also i agree about us being safe, but the crash guards are made primarily to protect the bike, for humans there are other riding gears that protect you.
See bro i ride with all the protective, in case of fall or skids bike can also hurt rider so prepare for the worst and hope for the best, baki rab rakha 🫡🙏🏼
Sir main aapko tab se follow kar raha hoon jab se aapne scrambler 400x li hai .. and I respect your riding experience and expertise.. par jo slider pe pair rakhne wali jo baat hai, wo na to sensible hai aur na hi wo us purpose se banaaye gayehain.. please aap aisi baatein na share karen.. ye sab chapri riders aur karol bag ke accessory shop walon ki banaayi hui baaten hain.. just a suggestion from a noob..
Yeah agreed bhai, vlog me ye baat bolna bhool Gaya ki leg stretch is just for some seconds not to make it a regular thing, comment section me likh diya h🫡
Good that I didn’t buy this company provided useless lower engine guard of 2788 rupees. Zana’s enginee guard which also occasionally works as foot rest in long ride is far better. One thing wanted to know- zana have this one & another with puck slider. Which is better practically
@@Kaushik_Pravesh looks are fine (personal preference) but how the puck slider is more safer. Because this one you have purchased also has that arrangement (which we can use that portion as foot rest as well) and that also can take load once bike falls.
