There were 11 Englishmen on the field, and a coach in the balcony, and none of them had a voice in Joe's ear about what he was doing....don't put the burden of blame entirely on Root, who was the only Englishman who did anything in this match.
They says bowlers set their field themselves but when they get wrong it's the captain alone who will face the heat

Root was the captain. He was the one setting fielders. Root called an injured mark wood to bowl particularly with the intention of hitting Bumrah rather than to dismiss him.
He is the single guy to blame here. It was his team, not mark Wood's, not Anderson's
If he doesn't have control over his team, he should give up captaincy

and yes virat at some point went overboard, but this was nothing but a good little spice on a good english summer!

A short ball here and there is fine. But bumrah and virat was intentionally targeting the body which was cheap. You can say anything, but i don't think playing hard and passionately means, you should try to hurt your opponents
There's a reason the body line series is called that and thought of as effective but dangerous and cheap.
If you are grumpy about getting smashed by a batsman, try the bumpers at capable batsmen, not number 11s who can't bat. You're just venting out your ego there

If he has bowled this over the wicket than it was a great delivery but he bowled it round the wicket with such precision and with such a genius setup.

In all fairness, if KL hadn't had that ton, we'd have lost the match before it even reached the 2nd innings. England scored 391 in the 1st innings. All of the bowlers did well, and yeah, we could conceivably give the bowling team as a whole the MOTM. Bumrah getting Root out in the 2nd innings was worth the other 9 wickets. That was the single-most important wicket India has taken this year (or perhaps ever).
