I've been using Carveco Maker for about a month now and have struggled with the stacking effect. Ive watched a number of tutorial videos and yours is the best yet. Thank you for taking the time to make this and post it....subscribed. 👍

Enjoying your videos. You go at a good pace and explain things well. Thanks. I was following your video on Stacked text with a relief carving to a tee. But when trying to simulate I get the message I have overlapping vectors. I used Vector Dr. and everything seems to be clean, no overlapping. What can I do to get a different look at what may be causing the problem? Thanks for any help.

I've been using Carveco for a little while now using a friend's laptop but need to get my own cause his is old and is very slow. Trying to figure a good one to use with it that isn't going to break the bank, any ideas?

All of the minimum requirement specs are at the link below, I would reccomend at least 16gb of RAM though, if you go only 8gb it'll take a while to calculate the more complex 3d toolpaths.

@@SethCNC i noticed on there website it says you have access to over 600 reliefs in the database to use. Where do you go to look at them and get them?

There is a seperate database file that you'll download to get to them. If you go to the relief library there should be a button in there mentioning the additional reliefs, which will take you right to the download page to get the extra files... 600 sounds like a lot but many of them are likely categories that many will never use. I think I've used 3 of the plaques from the library so far, every thing else I've used has been my own imported files.

I run the Carveco Facebook group. Would it be OK if I shared this in the group?

I wish you would slow down and explain what you are doing. Not everyone knows what you are doing.
