I don't quite understand your reporting. In the Offset clause as mentioned by newspapers Reliance Defense will get only 3% of the total estimate which is 900 Cr. State owned PSU's like DRDO, BHEL, BEL, SAMEER were also chosen by Dassault in the clause and they will plan accordingly at intervals of 6 months. HAL has not been able to complete the delivery of Tejas, which was commissioned by Rajiv Gandhi, its been 24 years since his departure. And, people are like Why Reliance instead of HAL. Great reporting guys.
The contradiction is in the amout of money Drassault announced to invest in Reliance defense vs the calculated amount of 3%. The main controversy is regarding the change of the deal itselt. This deal was signed without following proper protocols. Pls refer to Akash Bannerjee's live stream a few days back. You will find why it's a controversy. I may not be correct but that's what i know. Btw there are other private companies which are experienced and not bankrupt in the defense sector.

That is the reason why Anil Ambani's Reliance is getting offset contracts worth 30,000 crore rupees. The question is why not HAL? If HAL has efficiency problems, the solution is not ditching HAL but strengthening it. OK fine don't consider HAL, but consider firms like TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) or Godrej Aerospace or L&T Defence. All these firms have good track record. For your information there are at least 70 defense manufacturing companies in India. Instead, why a 45000 crore indebted firm with 0% experience that too formed just 12 days before the announcement of the deal. When I use my brain, there is something fishy.

I don't quite understand your reporting. In the Offset clause as mentioned by newspapers Reliance Defense will get only 3% of the total estimate which is 900 Cr. State owned PSU's like DRDO, BHEL, BEL, SAMEER were also chosen by Dassault in the clause and they will plan accordingly at intervals of 6 months. HAL has not been able to complete the delivery of Tejas, which was commissioned by Rajiv Gandhi, its been 24 years since his departure. And, people are like Why Reliance instead of HAL. Great reporting guys.
The contradiction is in the amout of money Drassault announced to invest in Reliance defense vs the calculated amount of 3%. The main controversy is regarding the change of the deal itselt. This deal was signed without following proper protocols. Pls refer to Akash Bannerjee's live stream a few days back. You will find why it's a controversy. I may not be correct but that's what i know.
Btw there are other private companies which are experienced and not bankrupt in the defense sector.

Bro you are totally wrong. The deal is worth around 60,000 crores and as per defense procurement rules, offsets have to be 50% of the total procurement price. That is the reason why Anil Ambani's Reliance is getting offset contracts worth 30,000 crore rupees. The question is why not HAL? If HAL has efficiency problems, the solution is not ditching HAL but strengthening it. OK fine don't consider HAL, but consider firms like TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) or Godrej Aerospace or L&T Defence. All these firms have good track record. For your information there are at least 70 defense manufacturing companies in India. Instead, why a 45000 crore indebted firm with 0% experience that too formed just 12 days before the announcement of the deal. When I use my brain, there is something fishy.
Few things one needs to notice in this video:
-The anchor and the PM are no where in the same frame of the camera at once...
-why are the answers of Modi not in lines with the question, not even a bit.
-No anchor can interrupt Modi while talking, and here we see interruption after almost whenever he tried to speak up..

Also, Quint has clearly mentioned that this is an edited version. It's been 5 years that modi hasn't been able to answer a lot of things. That is quite a long duration I guess.
