I can hear your frustrations loud and clear. You need to stop giving stuff away. That doesn't build channels. You need those trucks to make more content. Work with what you have, concentrate on making more videos that offer your knowledge not your possessions. Hang in there and keep the grind going. Hopefully things turn around for you. Good luck.
Holy moly!!! Paul you had mentioned this to me at Proline, this has been sticking with me since... What you are doing for the community has not gone un heard. If you ever need anything from my end please don't hesitate to reach out!! I personally have never sold any of my trucks and have always given them and tons of stuff way to friends and family for free so that others can get in and enjoy with out having to break the bank, so I share this same passion. I personally don't want to think of the total Ive spent on RCs in the last 15 years as it would have probably bought me another house..
Adulting sucks! That said, you do great work for the RC community dude!! I’ll go through what I’m not using & if in decent shape, donate to the cause. I’ll put the word out to my local crawler buddies & see if they have parts they wouldn’t mind donating as well. Keep your head up brotha!
Man, you're right, this is a hard topic but I completely understand where it's coming from. Doing what you are doing is extremely charitable but unsustainable trying to fund this yourself! I think opening up the opportunity for people to be able to donate is a great idea and I really hope it prospers! You may have to adjust your giveaway pace also to try to remain sustainable as well to maybe quarterly or more? This would allow for parts to come in as well as more content build and parts requests to the community. There's a lot to unpack here and suggest. In the end, I would be willing to help the best I could as well but reality dictates it will take more than just a few people as inflation is taking a toll on all of us!! Regardless of what happens, you've impacted many people and lives. Not many people can say they could act as selflessly as you have. I applaud you @The RC Underdog sir. I'm glad our paths crossed in this universe and hope things work out. 👍🏽💪🏽
Nothing wrong asking for help. Itd probably be helpful for others to be able to hook you up with parts that we cant find space for anymore.👍I think its a great idea ❤
Not really sure what to say Paul, other than I hope it all works out for you. I would never of had a second rig if it wasn't for your want to give back to the community but have to agree that it's unstainable for your pocket. I also have a passion for using and repairing antique/vintage sewing machines and fell into the same sort of trap a few years back ... not so much the financial cost but that did add up but it was the time involved that drained me mentally especially. I'll hush now, enjoy yer day please m8y 👍
I have a box full of: Vanquish shocks Vanquish shafts Scx10ii complete axles Beadlock wheels Vanquish chassis Various stainless steel links Servos Just let me know where to send it
I can probably put together some small parts and what not Rc brother. I rarely do giveaways on my channel, I do donate to our local guys and a few kids that enjoy Rc but parents just simplify do not have the money for the hobby. I'm fully funded on my stuff as well. I am monetized but I do not make crap from UA-cam. I don't think you really start seeing any kind of income unless your really getting huge viewer time and probably around 10k+ subs.
Do it man, I will send you some stuff. Nothing wrong with asking for help or at least throwing the pb# out there for donations. "One man charity" is'nt how charity is really supposed to work brotha.
