Geez, We're officially counting down aren't we?! Good Video and Good Info! Taking a family of 4 we split up the duties. Wife worries about keeping us alive with food and sustinance and I keep us entertained by rounding up all the gear and rigs! This is one of the major family trips for us so we have fun with it. Last year we rented an RV and had a fun time doing so! (It was our first time and definitely will have some memories of our adventure. This year it was actually cheaper to rent an RV onsite from a local renter so we will try that. I'm slowly convincing my wife into agreeing to buy one eventually! I think you hit the basic major points. I think also don't forget batteries!! AA and AAA. The great thing is horsemans is close enough to civilization where you could get some basic things if you were to forget. Also, don't forget about hydration and a good set of comfortable shoes!! A small trail kit with basics like screws, velcro, tools, etc is always a good call as well. Lastly, don't be afraid to ask for some help if you need it. Chances are are you'll find someone really nice and help you get back on the rocks. No need to ruin your weekend just because you forgot something minor. Have fun everyone no matter where you next event is!!

I have most of the stuff you shared because of going to music festivals and camping in our Outback. I lived in the high desert of western Colorado, I have a sun hat for day and wool cap for night/sleeping. Shade, chair, and a table is always a needed.

The Milwaukee ac adapter converts to ac then you use the ac charger to convert back to dc to charge. Get a cheap knock off Milwaukee dc adapter and skip the double conversion losses

I swear you're in my head some days. I have 2 sets of tires on plastic rims that need removal and can't use solvents or have the oven off gassing fumes that will mess with my wife's allergies/lungs. I've heard people talk about this method but have never seen it done. I'm going to use the plastic wheels as an obstacle or trail markers on the backyard course I'm developing. Thanks for the awesome content...as usual.

I bought the P1S because it would do everything I wanted from an X1 for almost half the cost. I made the switch to ABS from PLA and have not gone back and love it. I have tried PTEG a few times and it is nice, but brittle.

Gary Clark Jr. is a badass musician. I miss living in a city with an outdoor venue that you can basically see "Free" concerts from the park next door. I love the Element rigs, not quite "scale", but definitely cool and capable rigs. I hope dude gets in touch with you about the RedCat.

That green on the Phoenix looks fabulous, the wheels are just a little off shade of green, I dig it, might look cool with the Injora rainbow wheels with the "gold" centers too.The Monster Optic performs well, he did a good job driving it.

The green is always good. The Redcat is looking killer. I like the servo horns, in black or green to match the body, but I'd give it away with clips(with extras). Ask Matt when I can get a 5-panel SBG hat and a sticker sheet.😂

First and Foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR!!!!! Great Video! I am so glad you went into the importance of receivers along with transmitter brands. Affording a radio is right alongside the affording of the receivers. I got a GT5 rugged honestly only as an upgrade transmitter that I can use with the factory/original spektrum receivers that come on some brands. I find the touch controls to be, well, difficult to say the least. I am really impressed with the value of transmitters to hit the market lately. Now, this perspective comes from a non competitive, non racer perspective as well. I'm too novice to get into the latency speed and accuracy of professional level users but I don't think your audience is specialized in that so I feel this discussion is still relevant. At the end of the day, the moral of the story is you don't have to spend a lot to get a lot. The MT12 you mentioned is definitely interesting but not at all for the feint of heart. If you are not prepared for the intensity of that remote it may put you off rather quickly. Anywho, to address the elephant in the room, I am completely shocked at your announcement about the channel. This show has quickly gained a place on my Wednesday morning routine. With that being said, I cannot be selfish in this regard. Life teaches us as we grow older to understand that nothing is forever and cherish the time we do have anything. If you are doing this for better mental health or simply taking a break to enjoy life, who am I to be selfish enough to tell you not to do it simply because I want a video on Wednesdays. No. I will enjoy the time we have left on the channel and if you decide to continue, slow it down, or end it. Dude! I love this video. I felt a bit called out with first remote, "something to do with your other hand"; after the conversation about me starting a UA-cam channel I looked at that controller.😂 I have a RC4GS waiting for me at a buddy's house, I figure I'll get a bunch of receivers to run my trucks and use the other stock TX/RXs I have for the "kid's" rigs. Eventually I'll buy a Phoenix or VP portal RTR, cuz that remote is nice in my hand and the adjustment is easy and on point. I guess I'll have to start the "Junkyard Underdog RC" channel on January 1st, then I'll be a new RC content JURC😂😂😂. Good luck with your move, I hope you found a nice place to start new adventures on you path of life.
