I heard it when I told Woody the news reached us. I’ll never forget how haunting Woodys emotional breakdown was, it got too much that I had to leave my room for a bit. Woody found me crying in the pouring rain on my driveway wall and I was absolutely soaking but I didn’t care. It was a really hard time
It's happened when this theme played when lola has died of cancer not nice at all Jay and daughter lexi was ABSOLUTELY CRYING THERE EYES OUT I was when I watched it.😢😢😢😢
My parents and I moved away from Thamesmead in 2010. Even though Thamesmead is rather grotty these days, I imagined the Julia theme playing when we moved. Especially when my mum started crying as we went out the front door of our old house for the last time.
This played in my head when I worked at my school store the day after my friend Leo's untimely death in a car accident last May, near my hometown of Post Falls.
In memory of my dear Nan Val I love you so very much. Laying to rest, my funny, irreverent, kind, intelligent friend Dave Adams. Miss you buddy. Have a game of snooker on me.
Me to my old classmates: Forget about me, Forget you ever met me, forget I ever went to your school, forget I ever even exsisted, I'm just a nobody now. Me to the a-hole classmate that got me excluded and ruined my life: You better hope my new school accepts me, cause if they don't, whilst everyone else goes back to the drawing board to figure out a Plan B, I know where you live, and I'll be coming for you. After that, I got in the car and just told my uncle to drive, all this going on as this exact version of Julia's theme was playing in the playground, I was told by a friend a while later that people said that was the best and most defiant exit they had ever seen a school kid make. Well, if you're going, you might as well go out with a bang, that's my motto.
@TheAgent181 They are playing a revamped version, an alternate version, the snippets released are a lot slower and more heart wrenching, we never thought it would be possible!! It will be known as Peggys Theme, and played tonight when she leaves :'(
I heard it when Queen Elizabeth passed in 2022. On the evening of Thursday 8th September 2022, I’ll always vividly remember the shot of me and Woody.EXE looking out my bedroom window as we both grieved and it was the first day of our journey as the current king and Queen of Wales that night. Me being the Queen didn’t feel real but 2 years on, it’s finally sunk in. Every September 8th is the hardest day of our reign
I love this piece of music0 specially when Bradley died I cried and I don't normally cry- I miss having a TV so i can watch Eastenders properly- not on flipping BBCiPlayer
Peggy died in tonights Eastenders! RIP! And this tune was played, i looked at my mom and a tear was comming down her eye and i said to her 'YOUR'E CRYING!' and she said she wasn't! (She's a "tuff" lady😂) HILERIOUS!!!
Who cries after hearing this? I had to listen to it in RS, because we were learning about Muslim divorce and we watched Kush and Shabnams divorce, i had to hold back tears 😂😅
They used to play the Julia's theme for special moments only now they seem to play it for anything such as the time when Amira was leaving. I used to hear it only once or twice in 6 mouths, have heard it at the end of Eastenders at least 3 times in the last month lol
Beautiful Music and Perfect for A death or person leaving in the sqaure...I think it was sad when Peggy left because you know she's never gonna walk back into albert sqaure ever again!!!!!
@JimboJitsuSBG to me she did deserve it being a member of the beale family and loving Ian and the children and the sacrifices she made for them . And im glad its being used more.
Eastenders should of played the julia's theme at the end of the live episode when Bradley died rather than the tut tut. That would of made it an even sadder ending
The version used on Eastenders is slightly different to this. The bit at 0:22 repeats the section at 0:05 normally. The version used in Frank's funeral was at a more higher pitch also. The bit at 1:16 I think was Frank's version.
@TheLegends1231 It was played at Stacey's departure and Bradley's fueral but wasn't played at Peggy's departure, she had her own theme (Peggy's theme) but it is very similar to this, only a bit different. Both beaufiful peices of music :)
God it's beautiful. It pulls at your heart strings.
That means they're doing it right!
I love this theme, very emotional, reminds me of all that have left the show
June Brown aka Dot cotton RIP ...legend sadly missed
Play this at my wedding. Honeymoon. Graduation. Funeral and everything else.
Who else is here after hearing that Queen Elizabeth II died yesterday (8 Sep 2022)?
they better play it at her funeral or i'll be real mad
@@15roei Uh-oh

An extended one like this should also be used when Dot leaves, whether in death or just leaving without dying.
No she's not, she suffers a collapse but she's ok in the end
Wayne Thomson yes
Wayne Thomson Xxcdvbbjyryy
Wayne Thomson dot will get her own theme🙌🏻
June Brown legend hope she's back on soon.

When they did this for Abi's funeral, I was actually in tears!
And when Max names Abi's daughter after her. "This time, I'm gonna get it right."
I always get teary when I hear this
When I leave highschool I want this song to play
Here after just watching Dr Legg pass away :’(
I think those 2 episodes where they used it are the last time they used any version of Julia's Theme.... So far...
When they played this at the end of Bradley's funeral, I nearly cried
This played in my head when I worked at my school store the day after my friend Leo's untimely death in a car accident last May, near my hometown of Post Falls.
Good to hear this version on TV again as Max left
Such a powerful track brought me to tears
Thanks for uploading this. It really is very poignant and touching, I think.
I always cry
Great song, always makes something go in my eye, which is why im rubbing it. Honestly, i dont cry.
This is amazing, thought I'd heard all there was to hear of this but here's another lush version!
This will probably play at the end of the last ever episode where it ends with the area being knocked down for redevelopment
I full on break down every time I hear this!!! :'(
In memory of my dear Nan Val I love you so very much. Laying to rest, my funny, irreverent, kind, intelligent friend Dave Adams. Miss you buddy. Have a game of snooker on me.
Bradley died!? wow, the US is WAY behind the times! Wish the whole series was on DVD, from start to current!
Classy music ...nice

Its always playing when people leave eg. Peggy, ronnie, minty, charlie etc
It should be. The full version.
Love this so much
I want Julia's Theme played at my funeral.
+Allan Ford ME TOO!!!! I love this tune! Also makes people cry as well! THAT'S A STARTER TO MY FUNERAL!
+Craig Banks it is quite sad but happy at the same time. it reminds me of new beginnings and people moving on after difficult times.
+Allan Ford yeah! It makes me feel the same as well! But not always the same! It really depends on how i felt before and what the situation is!
When they carry my casket into the church or the funeral chapel, this song or Peggy's theme would play.
Allan Ford
Used this again as Stacey flew away! :')
Stacey, one of the greatest Eastenders characters ever!
Those Slaters always have good characters.
She's back now spoiler
All Slappers suck but Stacey is the worst.
@@EastEndersSlaters... probably back with Martin soon.
I'm sure if Ian ever leaves he will get Julia's Theme he has been in it form the start or maybe his own theme
I never got one, well not yet and I've been in it from the start!
Nick Cotton You didn't need one, you have a huge fanbase instead!
ChuckleVisionmanII Maybe also Carmel and Linda? 🤔
Yeah Iain's theme. like Peggy's pat's Frank's
@@grah84mck Frank's Theme???
please play this at my funeral
thanks so much for this :D
the first 10 seconds already brings me to tears
Love this music reminds me of someone
i love this
Cudowny utwór...
Brilliant!
Who's watching in 2020?
Me. I came here to remember the memories I had on UA-cam before COPPA arrives.
AWWW the original cast are going and going so suddenly.
Julia's Theme is better than Eastenders itself. It was named after Julia Smith who co created Eastenders.
They should have done a Tony's Theme too.
@TheAgent181 They are playing a revamped version, an alternate version, the snippets released are a lot slower and more heart wrenching, we never thought it would be possible!! It will be known as Peggys Theme, and played tonight when she leaves :'(

OMG This is so beautiful I actually have a tear in my eye :*) This new version is 10 Times better than the original
I prefer the original '85 version but this is very good.
0:05 gets me :(
I don't watch EE all the time (I'm not from UK), but I still love this music, along with other music from EastEnders.
This gives me the chills
crying here.
Yh I want this at my funeral aswell very touching
When I finished my schooling I thought of this when I left the gates for the final time 😢😂❤
Still miss ya babs
Pat is getting her own remix of this, like Peggy did!
They should put the sad themes at the end of the show coz I can always tell when someone will die/leave
they should deffo play all of it if eastenders finishes forever
Skippy NEVERRRRR IT MUST NEVER END!
Lisstheninjapirate Meow Who knows? Maybe EastEnders would end in the future. You may never know.
hell will freeze over before that happens
Hear after Max left with Julia's Theme
I played this when i put to rest my guinea pig in my garden who was a very old piggie :'(
this was well sad when peggy left :'(
This version was first used as early as 1995.
o my god best music ever
One of a kind theme
I love this piece of music0 specially when Bradley died I cried and I don't normally cry- I miss having a TV so i can watch Eastenders properly- not on flipping BBCiPlayer
This is sooo emotional cuz it's always linked to somebodies death on Eastenders
This is for Jules who was an LSA at my College who left today 28\2\2017 Jules was at my College for 2 years
Honestly....i don't even know what Eastenders is....but the music is beautiful...VERY beautiful....maybe ill watch it now
the better play this to fade out of pat butchers funeral.
Peggy died in tonights Eastenders! RIP! And this tune was played, i looked at my mom and a tear was comming down her eye and i said to her 'YOUR'E CRYING!' and she said she wasn't! (She's a "tuff" lady😂) HILERIOUS!!!
The tune was not played it was quiet
I think he meant the next episode when Phil reads the letter.
+steven'saccount 2801 then that was Peggy's theme which is a different tune to this
This is no longer the Julia's Theme used today, they play the opening notes of Peggy's Theme now.
+steven'saccount 2801 they keep changing it, they are using Peggy's theme recently but they will return to this a few times
peggy rest in peace Babs queen of vic pub
Reading the comment's from when Stacey left and Ronnie went to prison and when Pat died. Lol. Ages ago :*
Who cries after hearing this? I had to listen to it in RS, because we were learning about Muslim divorce and we watched Kush and Shabnams divorce, i had to hold back tears 😂😅
Who else is here after hearing that Prince Philip died today (9 Apr 2021)?
I heart
@KeaneAddict no they're going to write a new song for Peggy, that will played at the end of her last episode. x
Eastenders take break due Covid 19 on June 16
They used to play the Julia's theme for special moments only now they seem to play it for anything such as the time when Amira was leaving. I used to hear it only once or twice in 6 mouths, have heard it at the end of Eastenders at least 3 times in the last month lol
They havn't used this in a while, I bet they are saving it for Pat!
Beautiful Music and Perfect for A death or person leaving in the sqaure...I think it was sad when Peggy left because you know she's never gonna walk back into albert sqaure ever again!!!!!
This was played When Peggy and stacey left i think
And at Bradleys funeral
NKO51 Julia's Theme is named after the co creator of Eastender's Julia Smith
using this when i leave my cleaning job- due to im the longest serving lol hahaha only 5 years but looking forward to travels.
I love the show they used the theme when Petter and Lauren left
Lola should get this when she passes away from her brain 🧠 tumour.
She did
I can't believe Peggy cancer come back
I love you everyone
this is a harder Julia's theme, I like the one they use
LAST USED -
18/04/11
Kat and Alfie leave the hospital after baby Tommy being reunited with his mom ,
Last uses:
(Peggys theme) Ronnies exit
Janes exit
Jims exit
@JimboJitsuSBG to me she did deserve it being a member of the beale family and loving Ian and the children and the sacrifices she made for them . And im glad its being used more.
Charles trippy get well soon praying for you be positive
Eastenders should of played the julia's theme at the end of the live episode when Bradley died rather than the tut tut. That would of made it an even sadder ending

Yangedd i have noticed an error! you may choose what eastender picture to use next time as that one is from 2007 MMVII.

i love this song. sounds really nice. I would love love to know where i can get a copy from if anyone knows could they let me know
thanks
Much better than the original!
I know it sounds weird, but I am with BethhLovessYouuu - I want this played at my funeral, too.
Same want it at mine
I love the bit at 1:17
Can I ask, how did you manage to get this lovely piece of music in its entirety??
Saddest time they ever used this was when Grant was scattering Tiffany's ashes at Peaceheaven, but put some of them in his pocket.
I know right? 1999 was the saddest year for julias theme.
she died and this was used :)
if i dont die to this i will be very disapppointed 😔
pat will be missed
