All players/actors are great, but the best is Jason Carl, silently taking notes, eagerly listening to all that's happening, with a small smile on his lips, drinking some suspiciously dark liquid from his glass... Raises authenticity to a whole new level.

Everyone talks about how Taliesin stole the show but also Bex was a chaotic *child* in every way and I loved every moment they were existing.

Taliesin Jaffe playing a sleazy vamp dad is absolutely beautiful. And then the bomb drops that he's not a sleaze but a guy who saved a stupid girl in over her head! He plays a Brujah so well!!!

@@AltairDhauglu all the characters are collaborations between the players and me. The four regular vampire cast members created their characters working both independently and together as a group, as part of a very extensive pre-chronicle "Session 0," and then we all worked together to develop them. Guest characters usually start as a concept from me and then I work with the guests to develop them.

i remember him saying on his first introduction on CR season 1 saying that he`s a vampire the masquerade fan. And now he`s playing he`s favorite RPG as his favorite clan (I suppose).
I like that they are bringing guest characters in and out, helps keeps things fresh without abandoning the characters we know entirely.

@@itzplant3196 I said that before it was revealed Carver quite literally brought her back from death. However... Go back to ep 1 where Belle recounts how she was 'turned'. It struck me as very similar to an assault victim recounting their ordeal. Something I love about Vampire; how dark it can get. There was a similar story in the Ghouls: Fatal Addiction book... But I digress.
I don't know why, but whenever Carver looks at Annabelle, he's always smiling. And whenever she says something angry or something he looks proud, either of himself, or her.
That's why he made her. And if she doesn't like it she can always walk into the sunlight and finish the job Nick started. Brujah are supposed to be anarchists fighting the system and raging against authority, not just lazy punks.

Honestly I understand the whole emotional weight of what Annabelle would be going through. But honestly i feel a college student especially one who was so against things and committing things she does it gets rather annoying and out of pocket. Granted everyone reacts in different ways.
I have to just say, They need to make some sort of animated clip of Victor doing a soaring leap in front of somebody, saying "I'm gonna need you to forget all about this" and leaving.
It's just so funny to see one or 2 things that become iconic to a character.

This is quickly becoming the highlight of my week, never seen a VTM campaign online before and this one just seems like... a masterclass on it. The storyteller is fantastic and the players are living their characters, amazing work. I am so jealous about the quality of this group.
I love this as well , more than any tv show.
It's funny because I feel like where most rpg parties tend to be so chaotic these guys keep the tone consistent and appropriate to the situation. Minimal tangents. It's like they're professional roleplayers (I guess actors would be an accurate title)

avoiding all the unneeded weird sexual innuendos, i really love the dynamic the players brought to the table in the first episode. Annabelle calling them mom and dad in the first episode (namely mom to Nelli) was so fitting for her personality and view. Jasper grew on me by the end of the 1st episode. At first i thought i would of hated Jasper but then nope. He plays my favorite Nosferatu now. I missed him till he got back. Plus i miss Nelli in this one.

Continuing the family dynamic again, Ramona is the tomboy next door who is...maybe a bad influence? The kind of kid that your parents tell you to not hang out with but you still do.
And Carver is the deadbeat biological dad who still kind of cares?
I'm the dad who can barely be a part of his daughter's life and I've asked her "what's stopping you?" before, I also try to make sure she always knows I'm proud of her, so yeah I identify with Carver like that

Ramona as presented by Jason was my favorite npc, so the girl got pretty big shoes to fill. I'm kind of conflicted: on one hand she's as charismatic as they come and looks and sounds a lot like I imagined this character to be. On the other, it's almost an uncanny valley, all the little differences between her and Jason's version stand out even more that way) Great job in any case!

I’ve been watching them back to back. I’m glad I’m going on vacation so I can watch them all without having to worry about staying up too late. The tone, the cast, Jason, just everything is fantastic. I’m blown away and eager to keep going through the rest.

Again I just let y'all know how much I appreciate this show and the people behind it. As someone who's going through a pretty rough time, ever since this show started Mondays has always been a highlight of the week. Jason Carl is doing a stunning job as a ST as always. When he starts to describe locations, people, objects and roleplay as the NPC's I immediately feel like I'm there and seeing it with my own eyes. Hats off to you! And the players are doing a lovely work of bringing their own characters to life and their acting is just superb. The guest players were just as fantastic as the rest of the cast and even thought they have limited screen time, it still felt so natural. So thanks to all of you for making Mondays a little less dull and entertaining us all!

I love the juxtaposition between last ep when they learned Tal was joining and the reactions to his character.
Though I hate Ventrues, Victor continues to grow on me bruh. Easily my favourite character. Plus him and Nelli G are straight savage badasses together.

Holy shit I didn't think you'd respond! Long time dnd player, just got into this series and you inspired me to get into this game. Book just showed up in the mail, and I've been loving reading it while watching the show! It's the best feeling when your players get so invested that they're arguing with each other in character for hours
